FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHY DOES TRAILFINDERS INSIST ON 6 WORKING DAYS FOR CHEQUE CLEARANCE?
In addition to providing both you and us with some protection from fraud our bank has advised us that a cheque can be stopped during the clearance cycle. The paying bank then has to notify our bank who in turn has to notify us that the cheque has been stopped. It can therefore take up to 6 days for us to be advised that a cheque has not been paid. You may of course choose to pay by debit or credit card or cash as an alternative.
