LIST ADMINISTRATION
Once registered we immediately open your Gift List. Unless otherwise notified it will stay open for one week after your special occasion. We will provide you with the requested number of guest cards which can be included with your invitations. There is no charge for the first 100 guest cards, should you require any extra, there will be a charge of £5 per 50 additional cards. All the contributions you receive will be deposited into one account. When opening your Gift List you will be asked whether you wish to receive the contributions in the form of gift vouchers or as a credit on your travel itinerary. Once the Gift List is closed, a summary of all your guest contributions and their messages will be forwarded within two weeks of your list closing. No monies held in a Gift List account can be withdrawn until the list has been closed.
GUEST CONTRIBUTION
Please note that the minimum contribution is £10. It then increases by multiples of £5, i.e. £15, £20, £25. Guests are able to make contributions in person, by telephone, by post and on-line subject to Trailfinders' normal terms and conditions. For payments by cheque we require six working days for cheque clearance, therefore if a guest makes a contribution by cheque the day before your wedding lists closes we will need to wait until that cheque clears before being able to close your account.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Trailfinders Gift Vouchers are valid indefinitely and may be used for flights, hotels, tours, car hire, travel insurance and any other Trailfinders service provided at any of the Trailfinders UK travel centres. The vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. No change will be given if the voucher is tendered for purchases less than the full value of the voucher. Lost or stolen vouchers will incur a re-issue charge of £100 or 10% of the total value whichever is the greater. The vouchers will only be protected by ABTA when exchanged for travel arrangements at Trailfinders.These vouchers are not redeemable in Trailfinders Ireland or Australian travel centres.
PENDING ITINERARIES
If you have booked your honeymoon or travel itinerary through Trailfinders you can use your Gift List towards final payment. Payment for your travel arrangements is normally due eight weeks prior to departure, therefore you are required to pay in full at that time. If you have already notified us of your booking, we will automatically transfer the value of your list to your booking file and process your credit once the list has been closed. If you have not notified us of your booking number please do so once your itinerary has been booked. The credit will not exceed the amount paid by you via your original method of payment. Cash transactions will be credited by cheque. Any additional monies will be forwarded to you in the form of Trailfinders Gift Vouchers, which can be used towards future travels. If a third party has paid for the booking on your behalf we will require an authorisation form to be completed by them and returned before the closing date. Please ask your Gift List consultant to forward this form.
CANCELLATION
Should your event be postponed or cancelled please contact our Wedding & Gift List Department immediately. This will enable us to close your list as soon as possible to prevent further contributions being made. Please note there will be a cancellation administration charge of £75 to be paid before we can proceed..
