1. Experience cosmopolitan Toronto

With daily flights from London, Ontario's capital city is the perfect gateway for any Eastern Canada trip. Start with an unmissable tour at the CN Tower Lookout Observatory, with a 360° panorama that will take your breath away. Once you’ve ticked off this bucket list activity, return to street level and venture to Toronto’s diverse neighbourhoods. Kingston was named Canada's first Capital in 1841, but Queen Victoria stripped the city of the title only three years later as it was considered too close to the American border and therefore couldn’t be properly defended but retained its historical significance.
