Why visit?: Situated on the south coast of Ibiza, Playa D’en Bossa has a thrilling waterpark, the longest stretch of beach on the island and an abundance of secluded caves. It's a great area in Ibiza for families, and offers something for all ages.
Best for: activities!
For Toddlers: this idyllic resort has shallow waters, perfect for building sandcastles, splashing around and enjoying lazy days on the beach. There are also various playgrounds, splash zones and carousel rides to tempt any tiny traveller.
For Children: young ones will love a horse riding trek through Playa D’en Bossa’s surrounding nature reserve at the Ibiza Horse Valley. As for flumes, slides and lazy rivers, Aguamar waterpark is the ultimate day out for families in Ibiza.
For Teens: if banana boats, jet skis and parasailing weren’t already enough, 4×4 safaris and jungle zip-lining will have thrill seekers covered. Or, grab some precious family time with your teens by a remote cave on the beach.
Why visit?: Nestled on the east coast of Ibiza, discover lush landscapes, peaceful palm-lined promenades and exhilarating zip-lines in culture rich Santa Eulalia.
Best for: variety!
For Toddlers: not only is the Santa Eulalia tourist train one of the easiest ways to get around the island, it’s a must for scenic sights. Make a stop at one of Ibiza’s iconic beaches along the way for shallow water fun and picnics with a view.
For Children: hours of fun and adrenaline are guaranteed at Acrobosc Ibiza Adventure Park, home to 49 climbing obstacle courses. For a chilled day, there are plenty of pedalo boats and playgrounds dotted around Santa Eulalia town, perfect for families.
For Teens: between go-karting and climbing walls, there are also many coastal paths which can be explored on a family bicycle ride. In the evenings, head into nearby Ibiza Town for a spot of dining, shopping or sightseeing.
Why visit?: Another beloved east coast spot, small but vibrant Playa Es Cana is home to the island’s oldest and largest hippy market, boat trips, watersports and UNESCO World Heritage sites. This is a great area for Ibiza family holidays.
Best for: land meets sea!
For Toddlers: most of the beach clubs provide dedicated play areas and carefully constructed kids’ menus, allowing parents to sit back and relax. The shallow waters along the beach are also a welcome relief.
For Children: get them outdoors and up close and personal with natures finest on a jeep safari. Or, tick a boat trip off the list and let the kids jump into clear blue waters as you sail around the islands finest stretches.
For Teens: live music, street food and stalls await at Ibiza's hippy market held every Wednesday. For some culture, venture to Dalt Vila for castles and ancient ruins or visit mystical Atlantis Beach, a city sunk beneath the waters.
