With almost 150km of idyllic sandy shores, it is the perfect destination for exciting water activities and a sunny, peaceful getaway.

Corralejo area in the north-east of the island is best known for its biggest dune spread, 9km of beautiful, white sand beaches and calm, turquoise waters. Matorral beach in the south is famous for its 60-metre-tall lighthouse, a nearby town where you will find plenty of restaurant choices and water sports such as diving.

This unique island offers endless sunshine and impressive views of the whitewashed villages and deep blue sea. Witness first-hand the volcanic activity of the Fire Mountains in Timanfaya National Park which are home to more than one hundred volcanoes and impressive multicoloured landscapes.

The town of Playa Blanca in the south of the island is a great choice for those wanting to sunbathe or enjoy a walk along the promenade.  The nearby Papagayo beach is famous for its cove of white sand shape and crystal-clear water and Puerto del Carmen has something for everyone from 6km of beaches to shopping centres to water sports.
