Days 1-2 Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Your adventure begins with an arrival transfer to your hotel. Visit the magnificent Victoria Falls, the largest sheet of falling water in the world on day two. Your guide will take you to various vantage points explaining the history of the falls and the surrounding park. Later, take a scenic cruise on the Zambezi River.
Days 3-4 Victoria Falls to Chobe NP, Botswana
Follow the Zambezi River to Botswana and make your way to Chobe National Park. Enjoy a morning game drive before a boat trip on the Chobe River on day four. The bird life on the river is rich with sightings of fish eagles, kingfishers and bee-eaters.
Day 5 Chobe NP to Makgadikgadi Pan NP
Continue your journey to the Makgadikgadi Pan to witness the immensity of this sprawling salt flat, one of the largest in the world.
Day 6 Makgadikgadi Pan NP to Maun
After breakfast head to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta, where the afternoon is yours to spend as you please.
Days 7-8 Maun to Okavango Delta
Board a houseboat in the middle of the delta and experience the myriad of waterways. Take the opportunity to enjoy a nature walk around the islands or in a traditional dugout canoe with a local guide.
Day 9 Okavango Delta to Ghanzi
Travel to Ghanzi, the ‘Capital of the Kalahari.’ This evening, the Bushmen will share their extraordinary knowledge of the Kalahari through stories and traditional dancing.
Day 10 Ghanzi to Windhoek, Namibia
Cross the border into Namibia and head to Windhoek. Explore the city on a guided walk before joining your team for dinner this evening.
Days 11-12 Windhoek to Etosha NP
Drive to Etosha National Park, one of the world’s premier game-viewing destinations. Enjoy a full day of game viewing, keeping watch for the black rhino and Hartmann’s mountain zebra.
Days 13-14 Etosha NP to Damaraland
Venture off the beaten track as you head into Damaraland. Home to ancient rock paintings and petrified forests, the harshly beautiful Damaraland region is a land of extraordinary contrasts.
Days 15-16 Damaraland to Swakopmund
Travel through the Namib Desert to reach the Skeleton Coast and the beachside town of Swakopmund. Enjoy free time in this interesting town.
Days 17-18 Swakopmund to Sossusvlei
Rise at dawn and venture through the orange-hued beauty of the immense sand dunes, some of the highest in the world. Climb to the top of Dune 45 for spectacular vistas of the surreal desert landscape.
Days 19-20 Sossusvlei to Fish River Canyon NP
Depart early and head to Fish River Canyon, one of the largest canyons in the world. Witness the colourful sunrise from the edge of the canyon while keeping an eye out for birds that inhabit this area.
Day 21 Fish River Canyon NP to Orange River
Head to Orange River, significant for its role in transporting diamonds. Set off this afternoon on a canoe journey down the river.
Day 22 Orange River to Trawal, South Africa
Cross the border into South Africa towards the Dutch vineyards at the foot of the Cedarberg mountain range. This evening, enjoy wine and cheese tasting.
Days 23-24 Trawal to Cape Town
Continue your journey to Cape Town where you will have free time to explore, before your epic journey comes to an end.
