Day 1 Chiang Mai, Thailand
Arrive at any time with the chance to explore bustling Chiang Mai. A welcome meeting is usually scheduled for early evening, giving you time to explore the night markets afterwards.

Day 2 Chiang Mai
Today's warm up ride explores the Old Town before reaching the outskirts of the "Rose of the North". Later, there is chance to visit a revered temple and marvel at the views of the city from a nearby hill, whilst listening to the chants of the monks.

Day 3 Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai
Transfer into the cultural heartland of Thailand before cycling the varied landscape nearby the Golden Triangle - Thai/Burmese/Laos border.

Day 4 Chiang Rai to Chiang Kong
After a visit to the Opium Museum to learn of the opium wars that lead to the fall of the Manchu Dynasty, a varied day awaits with some flat cycling past tobacco farms and corn plantations.

Day 5 Chiang Kong to Luang Nam Tha, Laos
Transfer across the border to Laos this morning and start today's cycle in the village of Ban Nam Chi. Today is a great day of exploring the Laotian countryside as you cycle through the rural villages, past the jungle amongst the mountains and sample the local cuisine along the way. Why not explore the night market of Luang Nam Thi this evening?

Day 6 Luang Nam Tha to Udomxai
Cycle to the town of Udomxai, formed by many small villages and home to a variety of ethnic groups. The ride today passes rice paddies and rolling valleys, with a few hill climbs along the way. Upon arrival, take a walk around the town and visit Xaymoungkhoun Temple for some spectacular views.

Day 7 Udomxai to Pak Beng
Pak Beng is an important town between China and Vietnam, with a unique multicultural atmosphere next to the Nam Ko River basin. Head to the town by bike and minivan, to your overnight spot on the banks of the Mekong.

Day 8 Pak Beng to Luang Prabang
Cruise towards Luang Prabang on the Mekong River, soaking up the pace of the riverside settlements and marveling at the mist covered mountains surrounding you. En route, visit the famous Pak Ou Caves which are filled with thousands of Buddha images, before transferring to your hotel in Luang Prabang for the next 2 nights.

Day 9 Luang Prabang
Cycle out of town to the Kuang Si Waterfalls, with the opportunity to swim and explore. After a picnic lunch, the rest of the afternoon is free to relax or sightsee at leisure. This evening, perhaps visit the night market with beautiful hilltribe textiles on sale.

Day 10 Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng
For those who wish to, rise early to witness the daily parade of saffron-robed monks receiving alms at dawn. Head south this morning, and after a 3 hour transfer to Phou Khoun, begin riding a thrilling descent through the limestone karsts. Later, pass rice fields and villages towards Baan Yao, before a bus transfer to Vang Vieng for the evening.

Day 11 Vang Vieng to Vientiane
Transfer to Pakkayong village this morning to start today's ride. Pass through rubber plantations, small villages and ride along the Nam Ngum River before stopping for lunch. Once at Ban Don Noun village, hop on a bus and transfer to the capital, Vientiane. This evening, watch the sunset over the Mekong with a beverage in hand.

Day 12 Vientiane to Bangkok, Thailand
The morning is free to explore the sights of Vientiane, before cycling this afternoon across the Laos/Thailand border to Nong Khai railway station to board an overnight train to Bangkok.

Day 13 Bangkok
Arriving early on the train, check into the hotel before embarking on a longtail boat ride through the canals of the vibrant capital of Thailand. Visit the Royal Palace and Wat Pho, with the afternoon free to do as you wish.

Day 14 Bangkok
Your tour comes to an end after breakfast
