Day 1 Queenstown/Te Anau to Milford Sound
After a scenic drive into Fiordland National Park through towering mountains and past thundering waterfalls, board your purpose built vessel, the Milford Mariner. Cruise through the aweinspiring, majestic Milford Sound to the Tasman Sea beyond. Look out for marine wildlife and cascading waterfalls accompanied by a specialist nature guide who is on hand for any questions. The ship anchors in a sheltered cove for the evening where guests enjoy dinner in a spacious dining lagoon.
Day 2 Milford Sound to Queenstown/Te Anau
Wake up to the view of glaciercarved mountains. There is no rush, relax in the cosy observation lounge or take a morning stroll along the spacious viewing decks, keeping your eyes peeled for gliding birds and rare penguins before enjoying breakfast on board. Perhaps opt to explore by kayak for the chance to get up close to the marine life including dolphins and seals before returning to Milford for the return journey to Queenstown or Te Anau.
