ITINERARY

Discover quirky cities with lively neighbourhoods, small seaside towns (including one of the happiest towns in America) and chill out on Southern California’s palm fringed beaches all on this iconic road trip of the California coast.
The journey on Highway 1 from the Monterey Peninsula to Santa Barbara’s peaceful wine country is brimming with picturesque streets lined with tiny boutiques and includes the breathtaking Big Sur coastline where villages perch atop steep cliff tops.

Continue along the coast of the Pacific Ocean to affluent Malibu, home to numerous Hollywood stars and make sure you don't miss the sun set from the beach of the famous Santa Monica pier.

Unfortunately, your road trip must come to an end and what better place to finish than in the vibrant city of San Diego known for its gourmet restaurants, lively bars and pretty beaches.
