Day 1  Lisbon
Fly to Lisbon and upon arrival, make your way to your hotel.

Days 2-4  Lisbon
After breakfast, meet your guide and explore the undiscovered neighbourhoods of Lisbon of Baixa and Mouraria. Taste delicious Portuguese foods paired with wines and beers you won't find anywhere else. Over the next couple of days, spend time seeing the sights and learning of the city's rich cultural past, while picking up some tasty pastries, cheese, coffee, seafood and wine as you meander the streets. Perhaps head out of the city for the day and head to Sintra to see the colourful towers of Pena Palace.

Day 5  Lisbon to Porto
Catch the train to Porto this morning and admire the scenery as you wind up the coast to this enchanting city. Start your exploration by getting the legs pumping as you climb the stairs to the top level of the Luis I Bridge for spectacular city views, then ride the cable car down and stroll the waterside promenade as you ponder which restaurant to try.

Days 6-7  Porto
To soak up the culture and history of the city, explore the historic north side and be sure tostop at the Livraria Lello bookshop. The manicured maze of lawns, sculptures and flower-lined walkways of the Palacio de Cristal Garden are a sight to see but also boast amazing views of the Douro River to Gaia and beyond. Alternatively, head out to the vineyards of the Douro Valley to find your new favourite tipple and explore the iconic port caves.

Day 8  Fly home
