Day 2  Amsterdam
Today, you're free to use your time to get local, bar hop, museum crawl, or sign up to check out the STRAAT museum (located in a former NDSM shipyard), or just explore! If you're hungry to taste your way through the local culture, this place is famous for Dutch pancakes, frites, cheese, stroopwafels and coffee – or you can take the opportunity to visit the small Dutch fishing village of Volendam for an optional dinner. Tonight, you have the option to sign up for an iconic cruise through Amsterdam, complete with an onboard bar.

Day 3  Amsterdam to Rhine Valley, Germany
After soaking up the beauty of the canals, crooked buildings, obscure museums and a cafe culture like no other, embark on a scenic journey to the Rhine Valley. With fairytale castles, vineyards and valleys, this area is a charming sight.

Day 4  Rhine Valley to Munich
Swap wine culture for beer as you head south to Munich. After being treated by the city's famous gothic clock, a charming old town and traditional Bavarian culture, perhaps explore the side streets by bike. This evening, prop up a stool in one of the famous beer halls where you can try a stein of a local brew.

Day 5  Munich to Venice, Italy
If you thought the Central Austrian Alps and Brenner Pass were a sight to behold, just wait until your descend on the floating city of Venice. Discover the hidden lanes, story book bridges and St Marks Square on a private canal boat trip with a local guide.

Day 6  Venice to Rome
Head to the Eternal City of Rome and uncover Italian icons as you get a glimpse of the city at night including the iconic Trevi Fountain.

Day 7  Rome
Rome wasn't built in a day, but that's all you have so rise early to see the sights of this ancient city. First, head to Vatican City to see the Italian Renaissance masterpiece that is St Peter's Basilica and later, hit the streets of Rome to see the Colosseum, make a wish at fountains and sip espresso as you watch the locals go about their daily routine.

Day 8  Rome to Florence
The dome of Duomo Cathedral sits proudly above the city, that's how you know you are in Florence. Take in the unique beauty of this city and become a history buff as you explore the sights with a local guide. Tonight, why not learn the art of pasta making and enjoy your creations for dinner?

Day 9  Florence to Lucerne, Switzerland
Say a fond farewell to Italy and say hello to the land of creamy chocolate, cheese and watches. Welcome to Switzerland! As swans float under wooden bridges, snow-capped mountains stand regally around you and the chocolate tastes like heaven on earth - the Swiss Alps are mesmerising.

Day 10  Lucerne to Paris, France
Once you have crossed the border into France, drive through the wine region of Burgundy to the lamp-lit bridges, sparkling Eiffel Tower and coffee haunts of Paris. Take in the sights on a dreamy nighttime tour before heading up the Montparnasse Tower for some spectacular views.

Day 11  Paris
Stroll the dreamy streets of Paris, leer over haute couture boutiques, admire the Notre Dame Cathedral while juggling coffee and crepes and get artsy at the Louvre, before enjoying your final night out on the town. Why not hit a cabaret show for dinner?

Day 12  Paris to London, UK
