ITINERARY

Days 1-3  Bangkok  
Your first three nights are spent at one of the capital’s most luxurious hotels, the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok. For over 148 years guests have been warmly welcomed at this iconic property which has maintained its classic Thai inspired charm and character over the years. No trip here is complete without experiencing the renowned afternoon tea at the Authors' Lounge or indulging in fine dining at Le Normandie. To really get a feel for life on Bangkok’s famous river, enjoy a memorable evening dining cruise aboard a traditional wooden rice barge or indulge in exquisite Thai cuisine at the hotel’s Riverside Terrace.          

Days 4-5  Golden Triangle  
Fly from Bangkok to Chiang Rai and travel by road to the magnificent Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle which is tucked away in a secluded location just south of Burma and west of Laos.  The camp offers outstanding tented accommodation with incredible views across the fertile valleys and rugged hillsides. Your unforgettable two night adventure package is inclusive of all meals, served in a unique open air restaurant which specialises in Thai, Laotian and Burmese dishes, plus all house wines, spirits and in room mini bar. Also included is a full programme of exciting daily activities. Enjoy an unforgettable half day elephant encounter or unwind with a yoga or pilates session. A relaxing treatment at the magnificent spa is also included during your stay – the ideal indulgence after exploring this captivating destination.          

Days 6-13  Phuket      
After an active itinerary discovering Thailand’s fascinating urban and rural landscapes, it’s time to head south to enjoy the world-class beaches. Fly from Chiang Rai (via Bangkok) to the Andaman’s greatest treasure – Phuket. Enter the peaceful serenity of Banyan Tree Phuket, a fabulous resort set around a serene lagoon and alongside a stunning stretch of beach at Bang Tao Bay.
