ITINERARY

Days 1-4 Cape Town  
Discover this fascinating city, from the restaurants and attractions of the V&A Waterfront to the top of Table Mountain. Spending the time in Cape Town is an experience itself with plentiful sites to explore such as the colourful buildings of Bo-Kaap and the scenic shores of Camps Bay.                

Days 5-6 Cape Winelands  
Pick up your car and drive into the heart of the beautiful Cape Winelands. Spend the next couple of days discovering the history behind the region’s wineries and vineyards, renowned as some of the best in the world. Enjoy a ride on the Franschhoek Wine Tram, hopping between beautiful wine estates sampling fine wines paired with breathtaking scenery.

Day 7 Oudtshoorn            
Take the scenic route to Oudtshoorn, driving through picturesque vineyards and the captivating Du Toits Kloof Pass. Take a tour of the fascinating Cango Caves and marvel at the towering limestone formations.      

Days 8-9 Knysna            
After an early breakfast, embark on a charming meerkat safari where you will have the chance to spot these adorable creatures in the wild. Afterwards, hug the coast until you reach the harbourside town of Knysna. Discover the sandy beaches and forest trails, explore the area and rich cultural heritage, and experience what makes this charming spot one of the Western Cape’s unmissable destinations.                

Days 10-13 Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth)            
Leaving the Garden Route behind, continue to Gqeberha, the base for your final days in South Africa. This coastal town boasts plenty of great bathing beaches and plentiful marine life, with dolphins and whales that can be spotted throughout the year.                
Drive out to Pumba Private Reserve where you will be picked up for daily safari game drives. Enjoy the ultimate thrill as you head out in search of a great variety of wildlife including the Big Five and the rare white lion!
