Sharks patrol all along South Africa’s coast and out on the water near Hermanus is one of the best places to spot them.

After a briefing from the accompanying marine biologist, don a provided wet suit and a mask (no diving experience is necessary) as you lower yourself from your boat into the cage just below the water line for the chance to enjoy an amazing close up encounter with bronze whaler or broadnose sevengill sharks. Nerves of steel are recommended! Whilst Great Whites have been known to frequent these waters, sightings are very rare. Before heading back to shore, enjoy lunch on board.
