Days 1-5 Perth to Rottnest Island
Kick off your trip with a couple of days exploring Western Australia’s capital, sunny Perth. Why not hop on a bike to roam the riverside, grab a craft beer or check out the botanical gardens. Then, take the ferry over to Rottnest Island to meet its most famous smiley resident, the quokka! Spend two nights immersing yourself in nature glamping right on the shore for a once in a lifetime Rottnest retreat.
Days 6-9 Rottnest Island to Albany
Back on the mainland, pick up your motorhome and head south to Margaret River, Western Australia’s majestic wine capital. Park up your motorhome and indulge in all that this gastronomic wonderland has to offer before swinging west towards Albany for your history fix at the National Anzac Centre.
Days 10-12 Albany to The Pinnacles Desert
Break your journey heading back up north in colourful Fremantle, then it’s time for something completely different as you reach the eerie emptiness of the Pinnacles desert. It’s renowned for adrenaline pumping sandboarding and bizarre (but very photogenic) rock formations, so make sure you’re there for sunset!
Days 13-22 The Pinnacles Desert to Perth
Head back towards the coast where it’s all about the magical marine world. Monkey Mia boasts pure white sand beaches and daily wild dolphin visits, but if you cruise further north, laidback Exmouth is home to Ningaloo Reef with over 500 species of fish and the gentle giants of the sea, whale sharks. Whether you want to dive, snorkel, or just chill out on a boat with a cocktail, this will be an unforgettable finale to your Western wander before heading back to Perth to complete your adventure.
