"We travelled on the Silver Ray. It’s one of their newest ships and despite it being their largest, there’s a great sense of space. Even on sea days there was so much room in the bars, restaurants, lounges and around the pool – it never felt crowded. Silversea is marketed as ultra luxury so I had sky-high expectations but this ship and the excellent crew really delivered. I would travel with them every year if I could!"

The MS Nieuw Statendam was easy to navigate and the staff were all super friendly. The ‘Have It All’ package was well worth the upgrade. Food was great overall – exceptional in the speciality restaurants, and shore excursions were a fair price. I recommend them for first time cruisers who don't want a huge ship, or those looking for a more relaxed onboard experience."

"I was very impressed with the Sky Princess® – it felt upmarket with a slightly retro décor. The central piazza was very much the hub of the ship with lots of bars and restaurants around it. Plenty of places to sit and watch the entertainment as well. The quality of food on board was very good. For a relaxed cruise atmosphere with lots of entertainment and activities, I would happily recommend Princess. Would we sail with them again? We booked another cruise while on the ship!"

"Norwegian Aqua® is one of the newest ships in the fleet, very modern and chic. As expected there were tons of activities and entertainment on offer so never a dull moment. The highlight for us was the Aqua Slidecoaster (part flume part rollercoaster) and The Drop (a 10-storey dry slide) – both free of charge and great for adult and kids alike! The food was great and there was plenty of choice, from buffet-style eateries to à la carte restraurants as well as daytime/casual dining."

Due to their small size, the ships can dock right up close to city centres, which was brilliant. The highlight though was our 'Azamazing' night where we were all bussed up to the glorious St Michael's Cave in Gibraltar for a private candlelit orchestral concert – it really was special!"
