Day 2 Rio de Janeiro
Welcome to Brazil. Upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro, transfer to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 3 Rio de Janeiro
Today, enjoy a tour to two of Rio’s most iconic sights which promise jaw-dropping views. Take the train up Corcovado and stand at the feet of Christ the Redeemer. After lunch, head to the world-famous landmark Sugarloaf Mountain.

Day 4 Rio de Janeiro
Unwind with a day at leisure in this magnificent city. Embrace the local way of life on the world-famous beaches, explore bohemian Santa Teresa or perhaps visit the legendary home of Brazilian football at Maracanã Stadium.

Day 5 Rio de Janeiro to Iguassu Falls
Fly to Iguassu Falls, transfer to your hotel and spend the afternoon as you wish.

Day 6 Iguassu Falls
After a leisurely breakfast, explore the Argentine side of the falls. Board a small train for a tour through the park before meandering through the walkways, listening to the roar of the thundering waters and visit the suspended platform at the Devil’s Throat.

Day 7 Iguassu Falls to São Paulo
Today, take a tour of the Brazilian side of the falls, stroll along the trail that descends down the canyon and soak up the amazing panoramic views of this great wonder. Later, fly to the dynamic city of São Paulo where you will spend the night.

Day 8 São Paulo to the Amazon Rainforest
Fly to the city of Manaus before transferring to your Amazon lodge to start your jungle adventure. Ask for more information on life in the Amazon, including details on some of the lodges and options for fantastic cruises along the mighty river.

Days 9-10 Amazon Rainforest
Spend two days experiencing the sights and sounds of the jungle with a range of exciting tours from your lodge. Take a boat trip in search of wildlife and trek through the jungle with knowledgeable guides to learn about traditional Amazonian life.

Day 11 Amazon Rainforest to Rio de Janeiro
Leave the rainforest behind as you travel to Manaus and fly to Rio de Janeiro for a night in this lively city.

Day 12 Rio de Janeiro to Búzios
Journey by road to the scenic beachside town of Búzios.

Days 13-14 Búzios
Relax on the many beaches which surround this charming peninsula and explore the chic cafés, buzzing bars and popular local restaurants which line the pretty waterfront promenade.

Days 15-16 Transfer to Rio de Janeiro and fly home

Arrive in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to your hotel.

Day 3 Rio de Janeiro
See the highlights of Rio on a captivating tour with a private guide. Stand beneath the towering Christ the Redeemer statue on Corcovado and marvel at the spectacular views of Copacabana beach from atop Sugarloaf Mountain.

Day 4 Rio de Janeiro

Day 5 Rio de Janeiro to the Pantanal
Fly to Cuiabá and venture into the incredible Pantanal wetlands for a three-night stay at the 3★ Pousada do Rio Mutum.

Day 6 Pantanal
Spend your first full day exploring the distinctive landscapes of these unique wetlands and spotting the diverse wildlife with naturalist guides from the lodge, on a river cruise, guided hike or night safari.

Day 7 Pantanal

Day 8 Pantanal to Iguassu Falls
After a final activity in the Pantanal, drive back to Cuiabá and fly to Iguassu Falls.

Day 9 Iguassu Falls
Witness one of South America’s greatest natural wonders. Visit the Argentine side of the falls first before enjoying the stunning panoramic views from the Brazilian side and take the boardwalk which extends along the base of these colossal falls.

Day 10 Iguassu Falls to Paraty
Fly to São Paulo and drive along the scenic Costa Verde (Green Coast) to the beautiful colonial town of Paraty.

Day 11 Paraty
This morning, enjoy a historical walking tour of this charming town, meandering the picturesque cobbled streets and admiring the colourful buildings. The afternoon is at leisure.

Day 12 Paraty to Ilha Grande
Journey by road and boat to the tropical scenery and gorgeous beaches of Ilha Grande.

Days 13-14 Ilha Grande
Make the most of your time on this wonderful island exploring winding hiking trails through verdant jungle, discovering sweeping stretches of beach and spotting diverse wildlife. Opt to join a boat tour to take you to the white sands of Lopes Mendes beach,

Days 15-16 Transfer to Rio de Janeiro and fly home
Travel by boat and road to Rio de Janeiro airport in time for your flight home.

Depart early and travel deep into the rainforest to your lovely lodge.

Days 7-8 Amazon Lodge
Set off with your expert guide on a hike through the rainforest, take to the water on a boat trip and visit local villages. There will be time to relax between excursions and lodges will often offer night walks to experience this unique destination after dark.

Day 9 Amazon Lodge to Manaus
Enjoy a final morning activity at your lodge before journeying back to Manaus.

Day 10 Manaus to Amazon River Cruise
See the highlights of Manaus, the Gateway to the Amazon on a guided tour before travelling to the pier to embark on your Amazon river cruise.

Days 11-12 Amazon River Cruise
Experience the rainforest from a different vantage point on the deck of a river boat as you sail this mighty waterway. Spend your days exploring the rainforest on guided walks, enjoying canoe rides along the lakes and streams in search of wildlife.

Days 13-14 Fly home
Disembark your Amazon river cruise after breakfast and transfer to Manaus airport for your flight home.

Days 2-3 Rio de Janeiro
Today discover two of Rio’s iconic locations. Take the train to the top of Corcovado and marvel at the Christ the Redeemer statue before riding the cable cars up Sugarloaf Mountain for fantastic views over Copacabana beach.

Day 4 Rio de Janeiro to Ilha Grande

Days 5-6 Ilha Grande

Day 7 Ilha Grande to Rio de Janeiro
Return to Rio de Janeiro to discover more of this energetic city.

Day 8 Rio de Janeiro to Trancoso
Fly to Porto Seguro. On arrival you will be met and driven down the coast to Trancoso.

Day 9 Trancoso
Head to Espelho, a beautiful beach backed by lush vegetation. With your guide take a trail over the red clay clifftops to admire the scenery, with time to relax before returning to Trancoso.

Day 10 Trancoso
A full day at leisure in charming Trancoso. Sip an ice cold drink in a bar on the Quadrado (main square) with its pretty white church or lie in the shade of a palm tree on the idyllic beach.

Day 11 Trancoso to Salvador
Transfer to Porto Seguro for your flight to the colourful city of Salvador.

Day 12 Salvador
Take a full day tour to discover the contrasting suburbs of Salvador. Begin in modern Barra before exploring the historic Pelourinho neighbourhood. In the afternoon head to the quieter Itapagipe Peninsula to experience a slower pace of life.

Day 13 Salvador to Praia do Forte
Drive north up the scenic Coconut Highway to the attractive village of Praia do Forte.

Days 14-16 Praia do Forte
Spend your days relaxing on the beach or strolling down the lively main street. Don’t miss the chance to visit the sea turtle conservation project to see the work being done on the Brazilian coast to protect these endangered animals (payable locally).

Days 17-18 Fly home
Return to Salvador airport for your onward travel arrangements.

Days 2-3 Rio de Janeiro
Begin your trip to Brazil with some of the best views in Rio. Ride the train to the top of Corcovado for impressive vistas from the base of the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue, before taking the cable cars up Sugarloaf Mountain.

Day 4 Rio de Janeiro
Today is at your leisure. Spend a day relaxing by the beach, shop for local handicrafts in the boutiques of bohemian Santa Teresa or join a cooking class to learn more about Brazil’s delicious cuisine.

Day 5 Rio de Janeiro to Pantanal
Fly to Cuiabá and transfer to the 3★ Araras Eco Lodge in the northern Pantanal.

Day 6 Pantanal
Learn all about this outstanding wilderness with expert naturalist guides from your lodge. Activities today may include boat safaris, jeep tours and guided night walks in search of caiman, capybaras and other animals which inhabit local area.

Day 7 Pantanal
Continue to explore the wetlands, perhaps on a scenic trek or a canoe tour through the waters. For the ultimate wildlife experience, add an extra night to your stay and spend a day on the lookout for the elusive jaguar.

Day 8-9 Pantanal to Amazon Rainforest
Transfer back to Cuiaba to spend the night, before continuing your adventure with a flight to Alta Floresta. Journey by road and boat to the beautiful 4★ Cristalino Lodge, your home in the heart of the rainforest for the next two full days.

Day 10 Amazon Rainforest
Discover the lush surrounding jungle with expert guides who will lead you on a range of exciting excursions, including canoeing along the river, hiking the forest trails and scaling the observation tower for amazing views.

Day 11 Amazon Rainforest

Days 12-13 Amazon Rainforest to Iguassu Falls
Return to Alta Floresta for a flight to São Paulo. After a night here continue your journey and fly to the stunning Iguassu Falls. On arrival, visit the Brazilian side of the falls to take in the remarkable panoramic views.

Day 14 Iguassu Falls
Cross over into Argentina and wander the trails which lead through verdant jungle to some of the highest and most powerful points of the falls.

Day 15-16 Fly home
Fly back to Rio de Janeiro for your onward arrangements.
