Saint Lucia Top Tips From Our Travel Experts

Esther Levin - expert

If you’re visiting St Lucia, I recommend the Mt Pimard hike as a slightly easier alternative to the Gros Pitons. It was still hard work, and included some rock climbing via rope, but it is really fun for any keen hikers, with gorgeous views at the top over Rodney Bay.

More than just beaches, St Lucia has it all - zip-lining, scuba diving, snorkelling, mud baths, cycling, waterfalls - and beaches! Friendly locals and atmosphere, gorgeous rainforests cover a lot of the island - a great option for a Caribbean holiday away for anyone looking to explore outside of their resort.

The people of St Lucia really made our holiday what it was, from drivers and travel reps to restaurant staff and tour leaders, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We felt genuinely welcome throughout our stay.
