Kings Canyon
Nestled in breathtaking Watarrka National Park, towering Kings Canyon is a feast on the eyes, boasting deep weathered gorges, rugged ochre coloured sandstone domes and an abundance of native plant and bird life. Both short and long hikes are available, best enjoyed in the cool mornings or late afternoons, to avoid the heat of the day. Whilst a reasonable degree of fitness is required, visitors will be rewarded with serene panoramic views of the pristine landscape beyond, which is also a revered Aborginal site.
