    Uluru/Kata Tjuta
    Uluru/Kata Tjuta
At the physical and spiritual heart of Australia lie the spectacular geological wonders known as Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Framed by a vast expanse of desert wilderness and possessing enormous cultural significance, these majestic icons are simply unmissable on any trip Down Under. Discover ancient rock art and sacred Aboriginal culture on fascinating guided walks and nature tours, admire the ever changing colours of the rocks at sunrise and sunset, then enjoy an outback dinner under a canopy of stars.
    Kings Canyon
    Kings Canyon
Nestled in breathtaking Watarrka National Park, towering Kings Canyon is a feast on the eyes, boasting deep weathered gorges, rugged ochre coloured sandstone domes and an abundance of native plant and bird life. Both short and long hikes are available, best enjoyed in the cool mornings or late afternoons, to avoid the heat of the day. Whilst a reasonable degree of fitness is required, visitors will be rewarded with serene panoramic views of the pristine landscape beyond, which is also a revered Aborginal site.
    Alice Springs
    Alice Springs
Surrounded by the picturesque mountains of the West Macdonnell Ranges, historic ‘Alice’ is the epitome of a remote and rugged outback town. Boasting a strong Aboriginal heritage and pioneering history, it’s also renowned for its nearby walking trails, museums and focus on the arts. Don’t miss a visit to the School of the Air Visitor Centre, browse the Indigenous art galleries lining Todd Mall then come face to face with goannas, thorny devils and frill-necked lizards at the city’s native wildlife Reptile Centre.
