Near the town of Livingstone, the Zambian side of Victoria Falls provides superb views of the length of the falls, of Victoria Falls Bridge and Batoka Gorge, plus a number of fantastic lodges set beside the Zambezi River.
Zambia safaris are renowned for high standards of guiding, an array of wonderful intimate safari camps and a range of exciting game viewing activities, including unbeatable walking safaris. South Luangwa National Park boasts one of the highest concentrations of animals in Africa and is great for walking, while beautiful Lower Zambezi National Park offers the choice of game drives, walks, fishing and canoeing.
Trailfinders offers a range of Zambia holidays and our expert travel consultants are a mine of information, often with first-hand travel experience. Whether you want to explore Zambia on a fly in safari or on a sociable small group adventure tour or are looking for advice on a multi centre holiday – they are the perfect people to ask.

Zambia Top Tips From Our Travel Experts
Lucy Weatherston
When visiting the Zambian side of Victoria falls you should expect outstanding views and access to the abundant and diverse wildlife of Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Also look forward to seeing Victoria Falls Bridge and impressive Batoka Gorge.
Holly Wallis
If you’re thinking of attending a safari in Zambia, I would recommend visiting between May and October as this is the best time to see Victoria Falls, because the water levels are a little lower, therefore the visibility is better, with less mist.
Emma Donnelly
Make sure you wear plenty of clothing layers on safari in Zambia as, while blankets are usually provided, dawn and dusk temperatures can vary hugely, and you don’t want to be feeling cold if you’re taking part in any evening activities.
