Day 2 Crete
With so much fascinating history and beautiful sites, enjoy exploring the island further over the next couple of days. Explore Crete’s old capital Chania, one of Europe’s oldest settlements and admire the iconic centrepiece of the Old Venetian Harbour.

Day 3 Crete
Today, discover the east side of the island. Opt to take a boat over to Spinalonga Isle to explore the fortress and enjoy the panoramic views from the top. Immerse yourself further into the local mythology and stop by the Minoan Palace of Knossos.

Day 4 Crete to Santorini
After breakfast, transfer to the port and board your ferry as you begin your Greek island hopping adventure! Sail across the Aegean Sea to stunning Santorini and transfer to your idyllic hotel in time for a traditional lunch.

Day 5 Santorini
Boasting luxurious boutique hotels with incredible vistas, a day can easily be spent watching the world go by. If you are feeling in the mood to explore, the main village Oia offers a maze of local markets, quaint restaurants and laidback bars.

Day 6 Santorini
Today, perhaps head off the beaten track to visit Perissa beach with its distinctive black sand, a truly unique experience. Alternatively, choose to hike the scenic caldera-side trail for breathtaking views of the volcanic landscape and the Aegean Sea.

Day 7 Santorini to Mykonos
Today, take a scenic ferry transfer to the glamorous island of Mykonos, one of Greece’s premier beach destinations. After transferring to your hotel, kick back and relax on the sandy shores.

Day 8 Mykonos
After an exciting week, take some time out in the sunshine and relax at one of the island’s beautiful beaches before enjoying a refreshing drink at the many stylish beach bars. Meander the charming narrow streets of Mykonos’ old town amongst quaint shops.

Day 9 Mykonos
After a leisurely breakfast, perhaps venture to hidden coves, relax on a glorious beach or hike fantastic trails. Alternatively, enjoy the tranquility of your hotel and make the most of the facilities on offer.

Day 10 Fly home
Transfer to the airport in time for your flight home.

Day 2 Prague
Today, wander the charming streets of the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the famed Charles Bridge, lined with statues leading to magnificent Hradcany Castle, the largest ancient castle in the world.

Day 3 Prague to Vienna, Austria
Depart Prague and travel south to the glorious city of Vienna. Stroll through this charming city; perhaps visit the imposing St Stephen’s Cathedral in the heart of the city.

Day 4 Vienna
Today, savour the many flavours of Vienna on a small group food tour. Enjoy delicious, handcrafted desserts, aromatic coffee and local delicacies as you weave through the city’s ornate streets and acclaimed Austrian markets.

Day 5 Vienna to Budapest, Hungary
Say goodbye to Austria and board the train to Budapest. Sit back and relax as you pass through scenic landscapes and beautiful rural villages en route to Hungary’s capital.

Day 6 Budapest
Explore historic Budapest on your included city tour. Admire sweeping views from Gellért Hill, marvel at the grandeur of St Stephen’s Basilica and drift along the Danube on a relaxing river cruise past the iconic Hungarian Parliament.

Day 7 Fly home

Day 2 Narvik to Svolvaer
At each turn enjoy incredible views on your drive to the Lofoten Islands, taking regular stops to appreciate the dramatic landscape. Your base is the charming fishing town of Svolvaer, the largest town in the islands.

Day 3 Svolvaer
This morning, admire the impressive fjords by sea on a silent cruise along Trollfjord and look out for sea eagles gliding through the sky. Later, explore the area by car, passing picturesque fishing villages with aweinspiring mountain backdrops.

Day 4 Svolvaer
Known for unspoilt white sandy beaches, with turquoise waters and mountainous backdrops, head along the coast to admire some of the Lofoten Islands’ best. Drive to the beautiful Haukland Beach and from there set off on a scenic hike along the winding coast.

Day 5 Svolvaer
Today drive down to the Lofoten Islands western tip passing some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. Here, savour the views and perhaps enjoy a visit to the Lofoten Stockfish Museum.

Day 6 Svolvaer to Harstad
Drive to Harstad, a city with a fascinating Viking past.

Day 7 Harstad
Spend today hiking, cycling or kayaking at nearby beauty spots. Rich in history, head to the Trondenes Historical Centre to learn about the areas Viking and Middle Age past.

Day 8 Harstad to Tromso
Drop the car off and take the Hurtigruten ferry from Harstad to the vibrant Arctic capital of Tromso and enjoy stunning scenery and fantastic views of the Norwegian coastline along the way.

Day 9 Tromso
Spend the next day exploring picturesque Tromso – the largest settlement in the Arctic Circle . Explore the old town before taking a cable car (or climbing the 1,200 stone steps!) to the top of Storsteinen Mountain to enjoy the panoramic views.

Day 10 Tromso
Head to Tromso airport for your onward journey.

Days 4-6 Sorrento
Leaving Capri behind, hop on the ferry and cruise across the Gulf of Naples to Sorrento, where a private transfer will meet you on arrival and drive you to your hotel.

Days 7-8 Amalfi Coast
Consider taking to the waters on a local boat tour, stroll through one of the many traditional towns or simply relax by the pool. As the sun sets on your Italian holiday, be sure to enjoy some of the region’s delicious cuisine while taking in the amazing scenery.

Day 9 Transfer to Naples and fly home

Day 2 Strasbourg to Chur, Switzerland
Enjoy a morning at leisure in Strasbourg, before travelling by rail to Chur with a brief stop in Basel. Chur is Switzerland’s oldest town with over 5,000 years of history.

Day 3 Bernina Express
The Bernina Express is a spectacular route. Pass by huge glaciers, flower filled meadows and rushing mountain streams. Head south over the Landwasser Viaduct and gradually climb 2,133m over the Bernina Pass.

Day 4 Chur
Today is free to explore historic Chur and the surrounding region. You may choose to discover the area further by mountain railway with a number of routes available.

Day 5 Chur to Brig
Another day and another spectacular Swiss rail journey. This time you’ll board the Glacier Express, a famed route over the Oberalp Pass.

Day 6 Zermatt
Today you’ll visit the charming town of Zermatt. Join a narrow-gauge railway following the beautiful River Rhône through the dramatic Matter Valley. On arrival at Zermatt, you may be rewarded with views of the Matterhorn.

Day 7 Brig

Explore Brig’s charming historic centre or using your included discounted rail card, perhaps opt to venture further afield with the glamorous Swiss Riviera just 90 minutes away.

Day 8 Spiez
Journey by rail to arrive in the quaint town of Spiez. Discover Spiez Castle set on the crystal clear waters of Lake Thun. Cruise along Lake Thun’s turquoise waters before arriving in the enchanting town of Thun for a train back to Brig.

Day 9 Brig to London
Leave the stunning Swiss Alps behind as you journey via Geneva to Paris before taking the Eurostar back to London.

Days 2-3 Gargano Promontory
Spend the next two days exploring the delights of this lesser known corner of Puglia. Visit the beautiful cliff top town of Vieste and perhaps opt to take a hike through the vast forest of Gargano National Park, home to epic tall trees.

Day 4 Matera
Drive inland to the ancient city of Matera, thought to be one of the world’s longest continuously inhabited human settlements. Lose yourself amongst the myriad of buildings and traditional cave dwellings that tumble down its hillside setting.

Days 6-7 Polignano a Mare
This morning, drive to Polignano a Mare and spend the day enjoying its secluded beaches, cliff-sided coves and swim in its natural swimming pools. Later, cool down with a creamy gelato, as you sunbathe under the warm Mediterranean sun.

Days 8-10 Itria Valley
Head south to central Puglia and enjoy the next two days at leisure. An absolute must do whilst here is to head to Alberobello – an UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its trulli houses with their distinct conical roofs.

Days 11-12 Lecce
Head back towards the coast to the city of Lecce. Enjoy exploring this enticing city as you head out on a small group walking tour to discover its many ornate palaces and churches, as well as the impressive Roman amphitheatre.

Days 13-15 Otranto
Today, take a short drive to the vibrant coastal town of Otranto. Perched between the glistening waters of the Ionian and Adriatic, it provides the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing final few days of your Puglian adventure.

Day 16 Fly home
Drive to Brindisi airport and drop off your car in time for your flight home.
