Day 5 Barstow to Flagstaff
Today’s section of the Route 66 is one of the finest, filled with iconic Americana sights. Stop at the retro Roy’s motel and café in Ambroy, wind through the picturesque Black Mountains to Oatman and see the colourful, neon signs of Seligman.

Day 6 Grand Canyon NP
Take a detour to one of America’s most impressive natural wonders, the Grand Canyon. Appreciate jaw-dropping views of this colossal, 277 mile long rock formation as you explore the trails around the rim.

Day 7 Flagstaff to Holbrook
Make your way from Flagstaff to the quirky town of Holbrook. En route, pass through nostalgic towns and stop at some intriguing geological sites, including the impressive mile wide Meteor Crater or the ancient cliff dwelling of Walnut Creek National Monument.

Day 8 Holbrook to Santa Fe
Drive through the magnificent Petrified Forest National Park and see the stunning landscape of the Painted Desert, with rolling hills striped in vibrant red and purple hues. Continue to Gallup, known for its deep-rooted Native American heritage.

Day 9 Santa Fe
With Santa Fe’s rich blend of Native American and Hispanic culture, see historic adobe buildings, discover a thriving arts scene and pick up handcrafted souvenirs.

Day 10 Santa Fe to Alburquerque
See more of the breathtaking landscape of New Mexico by taking the Turquoise Trail, a scenic byway, to Albuquerque.

With its stunning desert setting and intriguing Spanish and Native American heritage, charming Alburquerque offers an exciting urban stretch of the Mother Road. Explore the old town’s blend of traditional adobe buildings and Victorian architecture.

Day 2 New Orleans
The French Quarter is the heart of New Orleans. Wander through cobbled courtyards and historic buildings with intricate ironwork balconies. Then finish off the day with dinner and jazz on your included steamboat cruise.

Day 3 New Orleans
Enjoy the wonderful mix of cultures, Cajun and Creole cuisine, Voodoo legends and jazz music on Frenchman Street.

Day 4 New Orleans to Natchez
Pick up your car and head to the charming, historic city of Natchez on the banks of the Mississippi. Tour one of the grand antebellum homes and in the evening head down to the river to watch a beautiful sunset.

Day 5 Natchez to Memphis
Drive north and onto Highway 61, the ‘Blues Highway’. Stop off at the Grammy Museum in Cleveland before heading to Memphis, home of the blues and Elvis.

Days 6-7 Memphis
Get your ‘Memphis Mojo’! Visit Sun Studio and Graceland for your VIP tour then enjoy great live music in the juke joints of Beale Street. The city is also home to the fascinating National Civil Rights Museum.

Day 8 Memphis to Nashville
Welcome to the home of country and western music!

Day 9 Nashville
Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and enjoy the museums and music venues of ‘The District’, or perhaps take a cruise on the General Jackson showboat. End today with the chance to see legends and new rising stars of country music at the Grand Ole Opry.

Welcome to Perth, the cosmopolitan capital of Western Australia. Head to one of the beaches within easy reach of the city, cruise the Swan River or travel out to bustling Fremantle.

Days 4-5 Perth to Cervantes
Collect your motorhome and drive north to the moonscape of the Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park. This evening stay in Cervantes.

Days 6-7 Cervantes to Kalbarri
Continue to Kalbarri, a spectacular landscape of rivers and gorges overlooking the Indian Ocean. Swim, whale watch or explore the rugged cliffs at Red Bluff.

Days 8-9 Kalbarri to Denham
Take in the scenery as you head north to Shark Bay Marine Park, staying in the seaside town of Denham.

Days 10-11 Denham to Coral Bay
Today will be one of your longer drives, made all the better with the vast ocean scenery en route to Coral Bay. Spend the following day snorkelling.

Days 12-13 Coral Bay to Exmouth
Travel north to Exmouth, the gateway to the spectacular Ningaloo Reef. Spend the next two days exploring the marine national park, perhaps opting to swim with whale sharks.

Day 14 Exmouth to Carnarvon
Start your journey back south towards the sleepy town of Carnarvon.

Day 15 Carnarvon to Denham
Continue south to Denham. Perhaps spend the afternoon around Shark Bay, one of the few places in the world where you can interact with wild dolphins.

Day 16 Denham to Geraldton
Travel on to the seaside town of Geraldton, a bustling holiday destination. Relax on the white sandy beaches, visit the fascinating museums or take a wander along the Heritage Trail around the town.

Days 17-18 Geraldton to Yanchep NP
Journey south to Yanchep National Park. Explore the many walking trails and limestone caves plus spot koalas along the park’s Koala Boardwalk.

Days 19-20 Fly home
Head back to Perth to drop off your motorhome before your flight home.

Continue north through the lush interior of Vancouver Island, before the road returns to the coast and the remote community of Telegraph Cove.

Retrace your steps south and then turn west to Tofino. Today is the longest drive but there are spectacular views especially as you hug the shoreline of Sproat Lake. We recommend stopping off and enjoying a picnic in the secluded surroundings.

A true bucket list experience awaits as you take a cruise at low tide in search of bears. Known for its healthy population of black bears, watch as these playful animals emerge from the forest and forage for food along the water’s edge.

Days 13-14 Tofino to Nanaimo
After a leisurely morning, drive to the coastal town of Nanaimo, where you have the following day to explore. Stroll along the Harbourfront Walkway and take in views of neighbouring islands or enjoy a scenic hike to see Ammonite Falls.

Catch the ferry across the scenic Cook Strait to South Island, motorhome in tow and continue to Abel Tasman National Park. Here you can follow in the footsteps of early explorers through mystical ancient rainforests.

Days 15-16 Abel Tasman NP to Kaikôura
Kaikôura is a haven for marine life and swimming with the playful resident dolphins is a once-in-a-lifetime aqua adventure.

Day 17 Kaikôura to Lake Tekapo
