Botswana in Depth & Victoria Falls

Day 1  Fly to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe    

Days 2-4  Victoria Falls  
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. On your first evening look out for hippos, crocodiles and elephants as you cruise down the Zambezi River. The next morning enjoy a private guided tour of the falls. The afternoon and full day after is at leisure to relax or partake in some of the activities on offer in the area.      

Day 5  Victoria Falls to Chobe Riverfront, Botswana      
Transfer across the border to Botswana and on to 4★+ Chobe Game Lodge, the only permanent lodge located within Chobe National Park. Later head out on a safari cruise on the Chobe River.  

Day 6  Chobe Riverfront        
Discover plentiful wildlife on morning and afternoon game viewing activities.        

Day 7  Chobe Riverfront to Savuti, Chobe NP        
Fly to the arid Savuti region and check into 4★+ Savute Safari Lodge. Later explore the park on a game drive.    

Day 8  Savuti, Chobe NP        
Renowned as one of the best game viewing destinations in Botswana, the focus here is on game drives around the Savuti Channel and Marsh in search of memorable wildlife sightings.    

Day 9  Savuti, Chobe NP to Okavango Delta        
Fly to the stunning wetlands of the Okavango Delta and 4★+ Camp Okavango, which offers mokoro, motorboat and walking safaris*. Ask your consultant about adding a stay at 4★+ Camp Moremi to experience a different part of the delta.  

Day 10  Okavango Delta      
Morning and afternoon activities allow you to explore this beautiful area, where the ebb and flow of seasonal floods create a changing landscape of floodplains and waterways.      

Day 11  Okavango Delta to Makgadikgadi Pans NP
Take a light aircraft flight to 4★ Leroo La Tau, set on a riverbank overlooking the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, and enjoy an afternoon game drive. Between January and March the area plays host to the migration of large numbers of zebras and wildebeest.      

Day 12  Makgadikgadi Pans NP      
Head out on morning and afternoon game drives to discover the wildlife of this desert wilderness, this area offers a stark contrast to the parks further north.  

Days 13-14  Fly home      
Take a flight to Maun airport to connect with your flight home.    

*Water-based activities may be limited at times due to low water levels (notably Nov - Apr).
