From the comfort and convenience of your motorhome, explore Queensland’s coast with its spectacular beaches and tropical wonders of the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef.

Day 1 Brisbane
Queensland’s sun-drenched capital is a great place to begin your holiday. Cycle along the river, explore the wonderful markets and eateries or perhaps nip over to beautiful Moreton Island.

Days 2-3 Brisbane to Noosa
Collect your motorhome and drive through the beautiful Sunshine Coast to the ‘shire’ of Noosa. Relax amidst the cafés on the water’s edge at Noosa Heads or swim at famous Main Beach. Explore further on day three, perhaps browsing the boutique stores on Hastings Street or follow the boardwalk to Noosa National Park.

Days 4-5 Noosa to Hervey Bay
Spend two nights in Hervey Bay, widely known as the whale watching capital of the world. Take to the water during whale season (Jul - Nov) or visit fascinating Fraser Island, the world’s largest sand island.

Day 6 Hervey Bay to Bundaberg
Rise early and travel to Bundaberg to spend a day exploring the protected coral cay of Lady Musgrave Island. Swim, snorkel, enjoy a glass-bottom boat tour to spot the resident turtles and embark on an island walk before heading back to the mainland.

Day 7 Bundaberg to Rockhampton
Head into the tropical limestone caves of Capricorn Caves with an expert guide to uncover a very different side of Australia. Learn of the ancient geological history and special acoustics of the caves, before settling down for the night at the on-site park and relaxing around the camp fire.

Day 8 Rockhampton to Airlie Beach
Head to Eungella National Park, Queensland’s largest rainforest, to explore the 14 miles of bush walk tracks within the sub-tropical rainforest. Keep your eyes peeled for a possible glimpse of the shy platypus in its natural habitat!

Day 9 Airlie Beach
Spend an unforgettable day exploring the beautiful Whitsundays, part of the iconic Great Barrier Reef. Perhaps cruise the tropical islands by high-speed vessel or tall ship, visit picture-perfect Whitehaven Beach or take to the skies and see this amazing wonder from the air.

Days 10-11 Airlie Beach to Mission Beach
Depart early for the drive to Mission Beach. Popular with locals and tourists alike, this laidback coastal town boasts over eight miles of sweeping beaches, a host of relaxed eateries and a thriving arts scene.

Days 12-13 Mission Beach to Port Douglas
Drive north on the scenic coastal road to charming Port Douglas, where alfresco dining and swaying palm trees are in abundance. Travel to the Atherton Tablelands in search of native wildlife in the tropical rainforest including forest dragons, possums and maybe platypus!

Day 14 Port Douglas
Travel back to Cairns and drop your motorhome off at the airport in time for your onward flight.
