Day 1 Juneau
Arrive in Juneau for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Cruise Embarkation
Days 3-4 Icy Strait & Glacier Bay National Park
Spend the first two days exploring the remote bays of Icy Strait and the Glacier Bay outback where few tourists ever venture. Take to a kayak in search of sea otters, bears combing the beach or majestic soaring eagles.
Day 5 Chatham Strait
Sail in to the serene Chatham Strait and drop anchor in a remote Chicagof Island inlet. Head ashore and hike among moss covered trees, go beachcombing or stick to the water in kayak or skiff in search of playful seals.
Day 6 Kuiu Island
Salmon streams dot the coastline and where there is salmon, there are bears – Kuiu Island has one the world’s densest population of black bears. Spend the day scanning the coastline for these amazing animals.
Day 7 Frederick Sound
Spend the day exploring Frederick Sound, which provides an excellent opportunity to view humpback whales in the krill-rich waters among other marine wildlife and pass by the historic Five Fingers Lighthouse.
Day 8 Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier
Your final day of cruising, and arguably the finest scenery of all awaits. Sail through the pristine tidal inlet and fjord of Endicott Arm to witness rugged ice covered mountains gleaming high overhead and the stunning Dawes Glacier. It’s also your final chance to get up close and personal with the sublime scenery by skiff or kayak. Toast your voyage with a farewell dinner and relive the experience, as your Expedition Leaders share a photo journal of your trip together.
Day 9 Juneau to Seattle
Disembark and transfer to the airport for your flight to Seattle for a one night stay.
Days 10-17 The Pacific Northwest by motorhome
Enjoy eight days to explore this beautiful and spectacular region at your own pace. We’ve included a National Park pass so why not venture to Olympic National Park with its stunning coastline and rainforests and then onto Mount Rainer National Park, with is towering mountains, the highest volcano in the lower 48 states and hundreds of miles of hiking trails.
