Itinerary

Days 1-2  Calgary  
Fly into Calgary, the gateway to the Canadian Rockies. The following day, why not visit Heritage Park, a popular living history museum or choose to dine in Sky360, Calgary Tower’s revolving restaurant with magnificent city and mountain views.        

Day 3  Calgary to Dinosaur  Provincial Park        
Collect your motorhome and begin your journey through the vast plains to Dinosaur Provincial Park. This incredible park is home to the largest deposit of dinosaur fossils in the world.      

Days 4-5  Dinosaur Provincial Park  
This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a new discovery around every corner. Explore the area and be amazed by the beautiful scenery, unusual wildlife and perhaps even uncover a prehistoric artefact.  

Day 6  Dinosaur Provincial Park to Waterton Lakes NP      
Journey south through to Waterton Lakes National Park. En route, pass through the community of Lethbridge and see the mile long viaduct. Built over 100 years ago, this remarkable steel structure is the largest of its kind in the world.        

Days 7-8  Waterton Lakes NP  
Spend two full days immersed in the natural beauty of Waterton Lakes National Park. Considered a hidden jewel of the Canadian Rockies, enjoy a day hike on one of the many trails, take a dip in the tranquil lakes or simply soak up the sweeping views.        

Day 9  Waterton Lakes NP to Canmore      
Travel north to Canmore, stopping en route at the historic site of Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump and learn about the lives of the First Nations people who once farmed these lands.        

Days 10-11  Canmore        
Located in the Canadian Rockies, the friendly town of Canmore provides easy access to Kananaskis with its abundance of outdoor activities and fantastic wildlife spotting opportunities including moose, bighorn sheep and black bears. Enjoy a few hours with an expert guide learning about the local wildlife and discovering the best viewing spots.

Days 12-13  Canmore to Lake Louise        
Spend the next two days soaking up the mountainous scenery of Banff National Park and the sparkling blue waters of Lake Louise. Perhaps spend the day hiking one of the surrounding trails or simply enjoy all that the lake offers.

Days 14-15  Fly home      
Make the drive back to Calgary in time for your flight.
