Days 1-2 Bromont
Collect your car on arrival into Montréal and drive into the beautiful Southern Québec countryside.
Day 3 Bromont to Saint Ferdinand
Explore the nearby Appalachian foothills from this waterside town.
Day 4 Saint Ferdinand to La Malbaie
Drive on to the Charlevoix region for pretty scenery and excellent dining.
Day 5 La Malbaie
Visit the neighbouring farms, riverside and nature trails, or take the ferry to quaint Isle aux Coudres, where hiking, biking and local delicacies are all on offer.
Day 6 La Malbaie to Tadoussac
Follow the river north to the Saguenay Fjord region in time to kayak a section of this spectacular area at sunset. Backtrack to Tadoussac for your overnight stay.
Day 7 Tadoussac to Saguenay Fjord
Cruise onto the St Lawrence River this morning in search of whales and other marine life then head to Saguenay Fjord, your base for the next 3 nights.
Days 8-9 Saguenay Fjord
Uncover this colossal natural phenomenon in depth. Drink in the views on the hiking and biking trails, soar above by helicopter or simply glide downstream by boat.
Day 10 Saguenay Fjord to Val-Jalbert
Val-Jalbert’s living museum showcases a fascinating history of the region so arrive with plenty of time to explore. If time, visit the local wolf and wildlife parks nearby.
Day 11 Val-Jalbert to Lac a l’Eau Claire
Pass through stretches of tree-lined roads and tiny towns to your lakeside retreat.
Day 12 Lac a l’Eau Claire
Bear watching is possible in this area (in summer) so perhaps join a tour to view them from purpose built cabins and platforms. Alternatively, go fishing, canoe the many lakes or relax in the tranquil setting.
Day 13 Lac à l’Eau Claire to Auberge du Lac Taureau
Head to Lac Taureau and its surrounding 95km2 of woodland, lakes and islands. The natural wildlife watching here is excellent, so keep your binoculars at the ready!
Day 14 Auberge du Lac Taureau
Soak up the great outdoors for one final day, hike one of the many trails or join a beaver observation tour (payable locally).
Day 15 Auberge du Lac Taureau to Montréal
Drive back to Montréal airport for your evening flight home.
