Prague's Christmas Markets - City Break

Day 1  Arrival                
Arrive in this winter wonderland and take a private transfer to your hotel, your base for the next few days. Why not spend the afternoon meandering through the city’s narrow lanes before stopping for dinner at one of the many eateries. The local cuisine includes a delicious variety of roasted meats, Czech flatbreads and delectable pastries, perfect for an indulgent weekend.                

Day 2  Christmas Markets      
Today enjoy a relaxing morning and perhaps take a leisurely stroll along the banks of the Vltava River. Be sure to take your camera as you arrive at the Charles Bridge, Prague’s iconic 14th Century sight at the heart of the city. Later, experience the festive atmosphere at Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square, the two main Christmas markets. Enjoy the sound of rousing classical music as the giant Christmas trees are brightly lit as the sun sets over this historic city. This evening, explore Prague’s charming selection of restaurants and bars and be sure to sample a local pilsner, renowned worldwide.                

Day 3  City Sightseeing            
This morning, head up to the historic Prague Castle and admire the spectacular views from this imposing hilltop location. Prague is home to beautiful baroque architecture and gothic churches which can be spotted from this commanding perch. Spend the rest of the day meandering through the city’s smaller markets which are stocked with local handcrafts, scented candles and authentic treats.  

Day 4  Departure                
Cherish your final morning in Prague with a hearty Czech breakfast before taking a private transfer back to the airport for your flight home.
