Itinerary
Fly to Bologna and relax in your private transfer to your hotel. Discover a city filled with fascinating history, pretty terracotta buildings and delectable Italian cuisine. Arguably Italy’s capital for gastronomy, today the city harmoniously blends traditional recipes and innovative street food.
Day 2 Bologna
Spend the day navigating the distinct districts, brimming with authenticity and wandering down the colourful streets of Quadrilatero, visiting world-renowned museums. Admire Le Due Torri (the two towers), a prominent symbol in the middle of the city and visit a friendly trattoria, a slightly informal family run restaurant, for homemade delicacies. Later, perhaps cool off with a gelato; after all, Bologna is home to the leading university for gelato training!
Day 3 Bologna
Today, be sure to check out the Porticoes of Bologna, UNESCO World Heritage listed, these beautiful arches line the city streets and canvas the historic centre. On your included street food tour, sample delicious meats, fresh pasta and local cheeses as well as regional wines. Spend your final evening sipping an Aperol Spritz in Piazza Maggiore, the bustling square and beating heart of the city.
