Is something being covered up?
The Air Travel Trust’s (ATT) public accounts, to which the travel Industry contribute and tax-payers stand guarantor, are still not being published. The ATOL arm of the CAA have indicated the accounts have been produced – just not published:
The ATT accounts are typically published in June or July.
ATT accounts 2020/21 – Still not published (20 months overdue)
ATT accounts 2021/22 – Still not published (8 months overdue)
ATT accounts 2022/23 – this year ends 31 March 2023
What possible reason can a public body have for withholding public accounts?
Does this say that the ATOL arm of the CAA and the ATT trustees wish to keep something covert?
