Leroo La Tau

Nestled on the banks of the seasonal Boteti River, this beautiful lodge is located in a private concession overlooking the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, which is particularly rich in wildlife during the Jun - Oct dry season. Activities available include game drives, a cultural visit to Khumaga Village and, for stays of three nights or more, a day trip to the Nxai Pan salt pan. Owing to their remote location within the national park, the Makgadikgadi Pans themselves are not visited on daily scheduled activities from Leroo La Tau. Guests can unwind beside the pool and enjoy panoramic river views from the game viewing hide before drinks and dinner in the thatched lounge and dining area. Each of the 12 spacious thatched chalets is fan-cooled with a glass front and private terrace from which to enjoy the wonderful river views. A Family Room is also available as well as a sleep out deck that offers guests the opportunity to spend the night under the African sky (pre-booking recommended, extra charges may apply). Please note that this property has no wi-fi or telephones for guest use. This property is unfenced so animals may be seen around the lodge and you may be escorted to your room at night.
