Governors' Camp

One of the first camps in the Masai Mara, Governors’ Camp lies in a great location on the banks of the Mara River, in an area once reserved for Kenya’s governors and their royal guests. Immerse yourself in the spectacular nature of the Masai Mara National Reserve with up to three game drives on each full day at camp, keeping your eyes peeled for the Big 5.

Back at camp, head to the spa tent where natural products are used for a range of soothing treatments, offering a feeling of complete tranquillity. Enjoy views of the river from the lovely bar and look out across the plains as you savour delicious dinners in the dining tent.

With 24 tents, this is one of the larger camps in the Mara, offering friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Luxury Tents are simply furnished with views of the river or the Mara plains from the private veranda, while Family Tents are more spacious and offer views of the plains. Fans are available on request.
