Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa

The Twelve Apostles is a fantastic place to stay in Cape Town. Just outside the busy city, the hotel has stunning sea and mountain views and is located only a 5 minute drive from Camps Bay, with free transfers both to there and the V&A waterfront. The rooms are light and airy, and the hotel offers a pillow menu as a nice perk (although the standard ones are very comfy!)

Service at the hotel was to a very high standard with a concierge service and staff were always helpful with any queries. The breakfasts were fantastic with a buffet of both hot options and a continental spread; all served in the restaurant overlooking the coast. The Leopard Bar has a beautiful terrace which is the perfect location to watch a stunning sunset over the Twelve Apostles. There is also a cinema room which has scheduled screenings or allows you a choice of what to watch if it’s just you.

Despite being mid-sized, the hotel had quite a boutique feel to it as it only has four floors. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to a peaceful, high-end stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and waterfront!
