Time + Tide Mchenja

Flanked by a grove of towering ebony trees on one side and the Luangwa River on the other, Time + Tide Mchenja offers a luxurious back-to-nature bush camp experience in the heart of the national park. Overlooking a wide river expanse, the camp is wonderful for watching large herds of elephants crossing the Luangwa. Explore the area on day and night game drives or on exciting bush walks. For the adventurous, a sleepout under the stars can also be arranged (must be pre-booked at additional cost). Between game viewing activities, relax in the comfortable rustic lounge, take a dip in the refreshing pool, and dine on delicious meals which fuse Zambian and international cuisine in a wild bush setting. In the evenings sit under a starry sky sharing stories around the firepit of the day's wildlife sightings. The five fan-cooled rooms offer natural elegance with reed walls, thatched roofs, a private decking and an open air bathroom with a bath looking out onto the river. This property is unfenced so animals may be seen around the camp and you may be escorted to your tent at night.
