Time + Tide Nsolo

Situated close to a lively river lagoon with a design inspired by its intimate riverside setting, Time + Tide Nsolo is the quintessential barefoot bush camp. The area plays host to some of the most striking and unusual bird species in South Luangwa National Park, as well as a variety of big game and there is also a wild dog den nearby. Explore the area on day and night game drives or on exciting bush walks. For the adventurous, a sleepout under the stars can also be arranged (must be pre-booked at additional cost). The spacious lounge is the ideal spot to watch warthogs and vervet monkeys while enjoying a cold local beer from the bar and delicious meals which fuse Zambian and international cuisine are served in a wild bush setting. Five charming fan-cooled rooms are set on raised wooden platforms along a bend in the seasonal Luwi River. Each has an open air bathroom, and a shady private deck offering views of a permanent river lagoon that teems with wildlife. This property is unfenced so animals may be seen around the camp and you may be escorted to your tent at night.
