Avani+ Khao Lak

I thought this hotel was very impressive, it is well-designed with clever wall-art and pops of colour drawing your eye around the spaces.

It is a large hotel but sits within extensive beautifully-maintained grounds fronting onto a large expanse of beach. There are so many activities on offer such as, basketball, a skatepark, kayak and windsurfing, mini golf, rock climbing, Muay Thai boxing, outdoor cinema. There is so much to do.

The rooms were beautiful and spacious. There is also a 24 hour gym facility, Avani Fit, and Avani Spa.

We dined at the Beach House during our visit and found the food and service impeccable. The presentation of the food was stunning and excellent quality. They also cater well for gluten-free guests. The restaurant's toilets were also absolutely delightful with their own little outdoor gardens!

If you want to experience life outside of the resort there are mopeds to rent and excursions that can be booked through a dedicated on-site team.
