Mandarava Resort & Spa

Mandarava Resort & Spa was such a cool place, it had so many levels and was situated on a hillside that you had to walk around to fully discover it all as it was all hidden behind trees and plants. It was a lovely hotel, the room we had was extremely spacious; the bathroom, bedroom and balcony were very big. We were overlooking one of the hotel pools which was nice. The hotel has numerous pools in different areas, all very closed off with trees and plants which was very nice. The restaurants, pools and rooms were all on different floor levels, it was a little adventure finding them all.

Location wise the hotel was nice, it was on a hill not too far from Karon Beach. The hotel also had shuttles to Karon Beach straight from the lobby of the hotel which was useful. Karon Beach was also lovely, filled with shops and restaurants and a sandy beach with lots to do.

Top tip: If it’s on, don't miss out on a visit to Karon Night Market. A classic Thai market offering food, clothes and everything in between.
