Secrets The Vine Cancun

Secrets the Vine is a great all-inclusive, adults only option for those looking for somewhere sociable and fun. There was a wide range of guest ages, from honeymooners to 40s-50s and beyond, and it’s a great option for those looking for a bit more of a lively atmosphere, with some fun and games and music round the pool (nothing too intrusive and you can get as involved, or not, as you like...)

The hotel has good pool areas with lots of sun loungers and staff always ready to get you a drink or snack. There’s also loungers on the beach, which is great quality - gorgeous white sand stretching in both directions. Service levels are excellent - all staff were very friendly and helpful.

Food and drink was good, with a nice choice of restaurants (I thought Bluewater Grill and Sea Salt Peruvian were particularly good) and branded drinks. Also worth a mention: the breakfast buffet, which was very extensive with tons of choice.

We were in the lead-in room which was still very spacious. Beds are very big and comfortable. Lovely, big walk-in shower, and a good size balcony. Side views meant views over both the beach and the lagoon.

The hotel has a great location just a 15-20 min transfer from the airport and with easy access to the heart of the hotel zone (10 minute taxi or bus... buses leave from right outside the hotel every couple of minutes).
