Dhensa Boutique Resort

Situated in the heart of the lush Punakha Valley, Dhensa Boutique Resort offers a tranquil escape set amongst thick pine forests overlooking the Punakha River. After a day of excitement, perhaps having visited the impressive Punakha Dzong Fortress or hiking one of the many beautiful trails, the hotel's Kibu Spa is the perfect place to unwind. Wellness rituals and facilities include traditional herbal baths, rejuvenating steam and sauna rooms and an outdoor wood-fire hot tub. There is also a yoga or meditation room for guests to use.

The hotel’s restaurant serves nourishing Bhutanese food as well as a variety of Western and Asia favourites, all created using local and organic produce. Whilst you dine on the delicious food, enjoy the unbeatable views amongst the forest through the large floor-to-ceiling windows or from the outdoor deck.

The 24 rooms are set in 6 cottages, all with private balconies so each guest can truly enjoy the beauty of their surroundings. The rooms feature light oak furnishings in a simple, calming design and large windows allowing for maximum light to fill the room and inspiring views.
