Magic Camps Wahiba Sands

Located in the depths of the serene Wahiba Sands landscape, amidst towering golden dunes lies the luxury oasis of Magic Camps Wahiba Sands. 30 minutes drive from the nearest road, guests arrive to the camp by 4WD and are welcomed by true Arabian hospitality. From dune bashing to trekking and star gazing there is plenty to experience in the tranquillity of the desert. In the evening, watch as the sun sets behind the dunes, transforming the sands into hues of pink and orange. Dinner is a unique and atmospheric experience and can be a social affair dining with fellow guests under hanging lanterns. Afterwards, gather round the open fire and admire the night sky as the stars glitter above.

The eco-friendly, sustainability focus of the camp allows guests to immerse themselves into the Bedouin lifestyle. Energy at the camp is either solar or battery powered, and water is used sparingly meaning, in the style of the Bedouin nomads, no trace is left on the environment.

Guests can enjoy a unique dining experience at Magic Camps. Led by an expert chef, the culinary staff prepare authentic delights based on local and Lebanese cuisine. Traditional dishes from the peninsula including barbecued lamb infused with aromatic spices and marinated fish from the Gulf of Oman are served by lantern light in large, designated tents.

Guests sleep in spacious tents which feature an artisanal design, natural wooden furniture and neutral shades. Guests can choose to sleep away from the camp in a secluded area with a bed setup outside the tent (payable locally) for a truly unforgettable experience.

Please Note: Due to high temperatures in the summer Magic Camps Wahiba Sands operates from 1st October to 30th April.
