Atlantis The Royal

Words alone can’t do justice to Atlantis the Royal; you truly must experience it for yourself. I can confidently say this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s the definition of ultimate luxury, offering exceptional service, endless entertainment, and world-class facilities all in one place.

From an indoor shopping centre and tennis courts to private beaches and serene spa and fitness salons, the resort has everything you need. There are plenty of cosy areas to enjoy a coffee, and even your own private fountain view to enjoy nighttime shows. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, this is the perfect destination; you never need to leave the resort, as it caters to every need.

The rooms are sleek, modern, and immaculately clean as you’d expect from a newly built hotel. There’s a great selection of pools, including the iconic Cloud 22, a stunning rooftop infinity pool with panoramic views of The Palm.

Dining here is a highlight. The variety of restaurants is impressive, with something to suit every taste. My favourite was Gastronomy, which offers an exceptional buffet experience with high-quality cuisine. The resorts private beach is another gem; peaceful, beautifully maintained, and ideal for relaxing with a drink in hand.

Additionally, it’s just a short ten minute walk to Atlantis the Palm, where you can explore even more world-class amenities!

Top tip: Cloud 22 is very popular and doesn’t allow walk-ins (even if you’re a hotel guest), so it’s essential to book in advance. While it's open to the public, access is limited. You can reserve a four hour slot for the sun loungers for approximately £80pp, or a full day for around £150pp. Lastly - try to get a room on the highest floor as the views are incredible - you won’t regret it!
