Bay of Many Coves

Bay of Many Coves is an unbelievable property. We got the ferry into Picton from Wellington then made our way to check in for the water taxi to get to the property. We had a car so drove off the ferry and there's a car park to leave the car. If you’re a foot passenger a shuttle bus takes you into Picton to then catch the water taxi.

The water taxi took about 35 minutes, and we saw dolphins on the way.

The property itself is amazing, the view across the sound is so calming, a high level of service and beautiful rooms. The is a set 4 course menu each night, but you can pick which of the courses you want, and the price is reduced based on the number of courses.

There is a swimming pool, kayaks and different activities to do, including waterfall walks, and all in all a great place to stop and relax halfway through the holiday in a bit of luxury.

Top tip: After dinner take your torch on a 10 minute walk to see the glow worms.
