Hotel AWA, Puerto Varas

Perched on the shores of Lake Llanquihue with fantastic views of the Osorno Volcano, Hotel AWA enjoys a stunning location, a 30 minute drive outside the town of Puerto Varas. The hotel combines striking contemporary architecture with alpine-style interiors, to create a cosy atmosphere while maximising the incredible views. There is a beautiful spa with a heated pool, sauna, steam room and relaxation areas, and, for the more active, bikes and kayaks are available. The beach also provides easy access to the lake for a swim. Unwind with a cocktail in the bar or lounge, before heading to the restaurant to dine from its creative menu prepared with fresh local ingredients, many from the hotel’s own organic garden. Standard Villa Rooms are in a separate building set amongst trees at the shoreline with floor-to-ceiling windows and shower only. Superior Rooms are much larger with a fireplace, a bathtub and impressive lake views.
