Lapa Rios Rainforest Lodge

This intimate hillside property is set in a private reserve facing the ocean, offering paradise with an abundance of wildlife, from monkeys to scarlet macaws. Stunning vistas of the lush landscape and hidden beaches can be admired throughout the property and a host of exciting activities are on offer. The lodge also boasts a welcoming pool and a lovely alfresco dining area where home-cooked food is served using only freshly sourced produce, paired with an extensive wine list.

Whilst at the property, take the opportunity to experience your surroundings and really get introduced to the Osa Peninsula. Join several hikes that vary in difficulty, from early morning bird watching tours with a guide and discovering the beautiful coastline, to exploring the rainforest ridge via extensive walkways in search of waterfalls. Take to the water in a kayak, try your hand at horseback riding, or soar through the forest on a zip-line; there are plenty of ways to get around. With so much wildlife on your doorstep, Lapa Rios Rainforest Lodge provides the perfect base from which to find it.

Matapalo Suite: above the canopy and offering more space, these suites feature a private wraparound balcony complete with a hanging daybed overlooking the rainforest and Pacific Ocean.

Premier Villa: twice the size of the bungalows, this villa is perfect for more guests, featuring a large terrace complete with a hanging bed & sitting area overlooking the rainforest and Pacific Ocean.

Lapa Villa: expansive and above the canopy with sweeping views over the Osa Peninsula, featuring a separate living room and a terrace complete with a private plunge pool.

Brisa Suite: spectacular, one of a kind modern suite that features an expansive terrace complete with a private plunge pool, hanging bed and panoramic views over the rainforest and Pacific Ocean.
