The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, Autograph Collection

The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, Autograph Collection was the highlight of my trip to west coast Florida and is a must on any itinerary when visiting St Petersburg.

I stayed in the Historic Wing which is the main building in a bay facing room. The room was recently refurbished, spacious, clean and comfortable. The resort fee included two cocktails, a 90 minute use of the tennis courts, one wellness session, one use of the hotels e-bikes, and tickets to the local museum which I thought was superb value for money in the US.

The location is fantastic and could not have been better. Within a few minutes’ walk you have the pier, multiple restaurants, waterfront walking paths, green spaces and much more! There is no need to use your car here unless wanting to visit the beach or go into Tampa, etc.

Overall this was a great stay and I would highly recommend.

Top tip: Book a room in the main building (Historic Wing) as it’s been recently refurbished and is closer to the reception and entrance/exit.
