Days 2-3 Perth
Welcome to Perth / Boorloo. Visit Kings Park and explore its Botanical Garden along the Swan River, before enjoying a welcome dinner with your fellow travellers and tour director.

Day 4 Perth to Wave Rock
Journey through the Golden Outback to the small town of Hyden en route to Wave Rock, a magnificent rock formation formed over three million years ago where you can quite literally ‘ride the wave’.

Day 5 Wave Rock to Kalgoorlie
Continueto Kalgoorlie / Karlkurla for spectacular views over the Super Pit open-cut gold mine. Explore Hannans North Mine for the opportunity to discover the Golden Mile in Kalgoorlie / Karlkurla as well as experiencing a vibrant mix of gold rush history.

Day 6 Kalgoorlie to Esperance
Visit Cape Le Grand National Park, famed for its wild coastal scenery, sweeping heathlands and white sand beaches. At Lucky Bay, keep your eyes peeled for the kangaroos that like to lay on the beach before heading to Esperance / Kepa Kurl.

Day 7 Esperance to Albany
Start heading back west through the unique Fitzgerald Biospehere and stop at Bluff Knoll Lookout to witness the stunning beauty of the Stirling Ranges National Park en route to Albany.

Day 8 Albany
Spend a leisurely morning exploring seaside Albany. Perhaps visit the highly acclaimed National Anzac Centre which overlooks the harbour that 41,000 men and women departed Australia for the Great War.

Day 9 Albany to the Margaret River Region
Explore the canopy of the Tingle Forest this morning on the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk, before travelling to where the Indian and Great Southern Oceans meet at Cape Leeuwin.

Day 10 Margaret River Region
Discover fossils, stalactites and stalagmites in the impressive caves of the region, before tantalising your taste buds with a wine tasting at a local winery. After savouring on the local produce at lunch, the rest of the day is at leisure.

Days 11-12 Margaret River to Fremantle
The day is at leisure to explore this wonderful town, perhaps visit the colourful market or wander along the foreshore to see the fishing fleet.

Day 13 Fremantle to Geraldton
Explore the seaside town of Geraldton / Jambinu upon arrival and visit the evocative HMAS Sydney Memorial.

Day 14 Geraldton to Monkey Mia
Set off for Shell Beach, formed from billions of tine cockle shells before travelling on to the blue waters of Monkey Mia. This evening, watch the sun set with a cocktail in hand.

Day 15 Monkey Mia to Kalbarri NP
Watch the Monkey Mia dolphins approach the shore for a feed (weather depending). Venture into Kalbarri National Park to admire Murchison River Gorge. During wildflower season (Jun-Sep), the park comes alive with these colourful blooms.

Day 16 Kalbarri NP to Perth
Travel back south to Perth / Boorloo and join your fellow travellers for a farewell dinner this evening.

Days 17-18 Fly home

Days 3-4 Christchurch
Arrive in Christchurch and join your fellow travellers for a welcome meeting.

Day 5 Christchurch to Omarama
Explore Christchurch on a city tour before heading to Lake Tekapo. Delve into Maori astronomy at the Dark Sky Experience and soak up the alpine scenery en route to Omarama.

Days 6-7 Omarama to Invercargill
Drive through the Waitaki Valley towards Dunedin, where the afternoon is free to explore. On day 4 soak in the panoramic views of green pastures on the way to Invercargill.

Day 8 Stewart Island
This morning board a ferry to the unspoilt Stewart Island. Learn about the history and environment of the island on a Village and Bays tour.

Days 9-10 Invercargill to Queenstown
Drive to the adventure capital of the country, Queenstown, where the next two days are free to explore. You can choose to take an epic journey through Fiordland National Park for a Milford Sound tour or sip your way through nearby vineyards.

Day 11 Queenstown to Franz Josef
Visit the gold mining village of Arrowtown and see a trio of beautiful lakes, Dunstan, Hawea and Wanaka. Travel over the Haast Past and see the amazing Thunder Creek Falls en route to Franz Josef.

Day 12 Franz Josef to Punakaiki
Drive onwards to Hokitika and view the Pancake Rocks at Punakaiki.

Days 13-14 Punakaiki to Nelson
Journey along South Island’s scenic west coast on the Heritage Highway to Nelson. Enjoy day 11 at leisure.

Day 15 TranzAlpine Train
Cross the Cook Strait to Wellington and take a city tour on arrival.

Days 16-17 Wellington to Napier
Head to Napier on a scenic drive through verdant scenery. On day 14 enjoy a walking tour of this architectural Art Deco gem. The afternoon is free to spend as you wish.

Day 18 Napier to Rotorua
Travel past Lake Taupo and visit the Huka Falls en route to Rotorua, North Island’s geothermal capital. An orientation tour takes in views of lovely Lake Rotorua before enjoying a traditional Maori hangi feast this evening at Te Puia.

Day 19 Rotorua
Today is yours to explore the wonders of Rotorua. Perhaps take the Hobbiton Movie Set Tour, or visit Rainbow Springs to learn of the Kiwi conservation projects.

Day 20 Rotorua to Auckland
Follow the meandering trail of the Waikato River to Auckland. Visit The All Blacks Experience to celebrate New Zealand’s rugby heritage and achievements through the ages.

Days 21-22 Auckland to Bay of Islands
Drive the scenic Hibiscus Coast to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds to learn of the country’s history in the Bay of Islands. Spend day 19 exploring the beautiful area at leisure – perhaps head to Cape Reinga or tour historic Russell.

Day 23 Bay of Islands to Auckland
After a relaxing morning, travel through lush farmland back to Auckland. Enjoy a farewell dinner with your fellow travellers this evening.
