Day 2 - Aroumd
Today's adventure begins with a drive over the High Atlas Mountains to the village of Imlil – the largest village in the Mizane Valley. You’ll store your main luggage here, before continuing on foot to the traditional mountain village of Aroumd with your daypack.

Day 3 - Taroudant
This morning, you'll have a bread cooking demonstration for breakfast and maybe an early morning walk around the village of Imlil.

Day 4 - Taroudant
Today after breakfast, take a fun donkey ride through the picturesque oasis of Tiout. This is not your average city tour – by exploring the gorgeous oasis on the back of a donkey, you’ll be immersed in the local way of life and travel as the locals do.

Day 5 - Sidi Kaouki - Essaouira
After breakfast this morning, you'll travel up the coast to Sidi Kaouki. Mount a camel and take in the view as the waves crash along the shoreline, taking in the awesome scenery as you plod along.

Day 6 - Essaouira
Today is free for you to explore Essaouira. Everything in the small centre is within walking distance, and the beach is perfect for a long walk. Why not wander the harbour and its adjacent fish markets where you can witness the daily auction.

Day 7 - Marrakech
Leaving Essaouira behind, journey inland to Marrakech. Enjoy an afternoon walking tour of the city centre, taking in the main sights on your way to the sprawling Djemaa el-Fna main square and souq.

Day 8 - Fly home

Day 2 Tirana
Explore the vibrant city of Tirana on a guided walking tour this morning and take the cable car up Mount Dajti for incredible views. Enjoy local delicacies at a family run guest house this afternoon.

Day 3 Tirana to Pogradec
Marvel at the ornately decorated Bektashi World Centre, visit the historic fortress in Elbasan, and see the picturesque fisherman’s village of Lin. Head to Pogradec, on the banks of scenic Lake Ohrid, where you will spend the night.

Day 4 Pogradec to Korca
Explore the medieval town of Voskopoja this morning. Continue to Korca and embark on a walking tour of the city before enjoying the local raki in the old town this evening.

Day 5 Korca to Gjirokaster
Visit Benja en route to enchanting Gjirokaster and admire the Ottoman stone bridge over the river. Perhaps opt to take a dip in the thermal pools here.

Day 6 Gjirokaster
Gain insight into traditional affluent Albanian life at The Ethnographical Museum. Enjoy a homemade lunch at a family house in Dhkosat village and discover rural life on their farm. Later, visit the Gjirokastra Castle and historic centre.

Day 7 Gjirokaster to Saranda
Head to Saranda, stopping to admire the Karstic Spring en route. This afternoon, visit the great archaeological site of Butrint.

Day 8 Saranda to Llogara NP
Journey to Llogara National Park, stopping by Ali Pasha Fortress. Upon reaching Llogara, perhaps take a hike to soak up the mountain views.

Day 9 Llogara NP to Berat
Visit Flag Square and the Muradi Mosque before heading to Apollonia to explore. Afterwards, continue on to Berat.

Day 10 Berat to Kruja
See the frescoes at the Berat fortress, and visit the Roman Ampitheatre and port at Durresi, before continuing to Kruja.

Day 11 Fly home

Days 2-3 Cochin
Arrive in Cochin and explore the city at your leisure. Your tour begins on day 2 with a welcome meeting.

Day 4 Cochin to Kalpetta
This morning, take a train to Kozhikode then drive through rolling hills covered with tea plantations to Kalpetta.

Day 5 Kalpetta
Spend today at the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary where you may spot bison and elephants. Later, visit the Edakkal Caves, believed to have been a shelter used by Neolithic people.

Days 6-7 Kalpetta to Mysore
Continue to historical Mysore and imagine life as a maharaja on a guided tour including the fascinating Chamundeshwari Temple.

Day 8 Mysore to Mahabalipuram
Travel to Chennai by train before continuing by road to the small town of Mahabalipuram, site of the spectacular 7th Century Shore Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 9 Mahabalipuram
Explore the town’s remarkable monuments by bicycle or on foot. Later, why not take a sunset walk along the beach?

Day 10 Mahabalipuram to Pondicherry
Set off for Pondicherry, formerly a French colony and an important trading town. Admire the historic architecture while strolling the elegant boulevards.

Day 11 Pondicherry to Madurai
Travel by road to the town of Madurai, home to many striking temples and one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world.

Day 12 Madurai
Enjoy an early morning cycle rickshaw tour of Madurai, passing by fruit and vegetable markets and stopping at the famous Meenakshi Amman temple.

Day 13 Madurai to Thekkady
Continue to the spice capital of India for a tour of the plantations & tea factory.

Day 14 Thekkady to Backwaters
Travel into Kerala’s backwaters to a village homestay on a small island. Explore the island and observe local life with a chance to meet and talk with the people that live here. Admire the sunset on a peaceful small boat ride this evening.

Day 15 Backwaters
Learn how to cook traditional food with a local family or simply explore more of life on the backwaters. Later, board a boat for a trip through sleepy canals.

Day 2 Tashkent
Explore Tashkent with a city tour with your local guide. First, make your way to Khast Imon complex including the Barak Khan medressa, Kaffal Shashi mausoleum, Quran Library and Mosque, which holds what’s said to be one of the oldest and holiest Koran in the world.

Day 3 Tashkent to Samarkand
Early this morning, board your high-speed train bound for Samarkand.On arrival, join your tour leader for a city tour of this intriguing city. Visit a workshop of a local artisan who continues to produce paper using a 1000-year-old method.

Day 4 Samarkand
Today dig deeper into Samarkand’s cultural heritage during another city tour, exploring the Siob Bazaar, full of bustling stalls and friendly local traders. This afternoon, head out of the city to the Bagizagan winery, considered the best wine producer in Uzbekistan.

Day 5 Samarkand to Bukhara
This morning, make your way to the holy and historical city of Bukhara. Head to your Feature Stay in a converted Jewish House before dining at a local restaurant. Enjoy an Uzbek folklore and music performance at one of the city’s madrasses.

Day 6 Bukhara
A UNESCO-listed site, Bukhara is widely regarded as Central Asia’s holiest city. With monuments dating from the 8th to the 18th Century AD, your leader will help you understand the vast span of history and architecture during a tour of the city.

Day 7 Bukhara to Khiva
Make a morning visit to Sitorai Mohi Hosa, the summer Palace of Alim Khan, Uzbekistan’s last emir. In the afternoon, take the train to Khiva. You’ll travel through the Kyzyl-Kum (Red Sands Desert), the largest desert area in Central Asia.

Day 8 Khiva
Take a full day to explore this enchanting city with your leader. They will guide you through the city's ancient monuments including the Kalta Minor Minaret, the Khan museum, the 17th Century Juma Mosque and the Islom-Hoja Minaret and Medressa.

Day 9 Khiva to Tashkent
Take a short flight back to Tashkent and enjoy an explore of the city at your own pace. Tonight, join your fellow travellers for a final dinner and say farewell to this spectacular Silk Road country.

Day 3 - Syracuse
Come face-to-face with the volcano that towered over you yesterday, with a daytrip to Mt Etna – Europe’s largest active volcano.

Day 4 - Syracuse
Wake up without an alarm today – you’ve got the day free to explore Syracuse however you like. Perhaps wander through the streets and check out the crumbling building facades and balconies.

Day 5 - Noto/Ragusa/Agrigento
After breakfast today, head for the city of Agrigento. Along the way, stop at Noto – a small town with limestone buildings that dazzle on a sunlit afternoon.

Day 6 - Valley of The Temples/Marsala
Take a step back in time today as you explore the nearby Valley of the Temples. Your local guide will bring this classical Greek site to life as you visit the temples of Hera, Herakles, Zeus and Castor and Pollux.

Day 7 - Erice/Palermo
Today, set your sights on Palermo, making a few scenic stops along the way. First, you’ll explore the beautifully preserved medieval town of Erice.

Day 8 - Palermo
Take part in a walking tour with a local guide this morning and uncover symbolic places of rebellion and anti-Mafia racketeering.

Day 9 - Fly home

Day 4 - Lima/Puno
Fly to Juliaca and transfer to Puno. Take it easy in the afternoon, wandering the markets and exploring the city.

Day 5 - Puno/Lake Titicaca
Enjoy a guided tour of Lake Titicaca and a homestay in a small village.

Day 6 - Lake Titicaca/Puno
Visit the floating islands of Uros before returning to Puno. Opt to visit to Sillustani burial site.

Day 7 - Puno/Cusco
Hop on the bus for a full day's drive to Cusco.

Day 8 - Cusco/Ollantaytambo
Enjoy a full-day guided tour of the Sacred Valley. Stop at the G Adventures-supported women's weaving co-op before visiting a local pottery making community.

Day 9 - Inca Trail
Depart Ollantaytambo by van to km 82 where the Inca Trail begins. Ease into the adventure with a straightforward day of hiking the meandering streams, stunning Andean scenery, and ancient Incan ruins.

Day 10 - Inca Trail
Start early to climb the long steep path to Warmiwañusca, better known as Dead Woman’s Pass. This is the highest point of the trek at 4,198m (13,769 ft). Most hikers reach camp by early afternoon, with ample time to rest and relax.

Day 11 - Inca Trail
Cross two more passes and ruins on today's trek. The first pass is Runquraqay at 3,950m (13,113 ft) where, on a clear day, hikers can catch a glimpse of the snow-capped Cordillera Vilcabamba.

Day 12 - Machu Picchu/Cusco
The final day of the hike starts pre-dawn to reach the Sun Gate before sunrise. Catch the first views of the breathtaking ruins of Machu Picchu on a clear day. Hike down for a guided tour of the ruins, before your train back towards Cusco.

Day 13 - Cusco
Enjoy a free day to explore Cusco or relax. Choose to pre-book the Rainbow Mountain hike or the Cusco Cooking Class, or opt for other active options like mountain biking.

Day 14 - Cusco/Tambopata
Fly to Puerto Maldonado and continue by motorized boat to our comfortable and intimate G Lodge Amazon.

Day 15 - Tambopata
Enjoy guided excursions led by expert naturalists to spot wildlife at nearby oxbow lakes and along jungle trails. Spend some time relaxing in a hammock, enjoying the local swimming hole, or visiting a nearby plantation.

Day 16 - Tambopata/Lima
Fly back to Lima for an optional final dinner and night out.

Days 17-18 - Fly home

Arrive at any time and join your group and CEO for a Welcome Meeting in the evening around 6:00 pm.

Day 4 - Osaka/Kōyasan
Travel to the centre of Buddhism in Japan and sleep in a temple atop the 800m Mt Koya. Savour a traditional dinner of shojin ryori (Buddhist vegetarian cuisine).

Day 5 - Kōyasan/Hiroshima
Watch the monks pray in the morning and enjoy a traditional breakfast. Have some time to enjoy Koyasan this morning, before travelling to Hiroshima this afternoon.

Day 6 - Hiroshima
This morning, visit the Peace Park and Memorial Museum commemorating the events of 1945. In the afternoon, take a ferry ride over to the sacred island of Miyajima to see the famous floating Torii Gate. Opt to hike around Mt Misen.

Day 7 - Hiroshima/Kyoto
Travel to Kyoto and start exploring. Visit the impressive Nijo Castle and gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the evening, explore the geisha district of Gion on a CEO-led walking tour.

Day 8 - Kyoto
Enjoy a visit to the beautiful Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine and walk under the bright torii gates. Opt to shop, stroll along the riverbank, or explore another of Kyoto's many temples with free time.

Day 9 - Kyoto/Hakone
Take a boat ride on Lake Ashino-ko, and hopefully catch a glimpse of majestic Mt Fuji. Enjoy a feast on a traditional Japanese kaiseki meal then soak in the natural hot springs.

Day 10 - Hakone/Tokyo
Head to Tokyo with time to do some last-minute shopping.

Days 11-12 - Fly home

Days 2-3 - Victoria Falls
Our tour starts today in Victoria Falls. Often referred to as the adventure capital of Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls offers a thrilling combination of land, air and water-based activities.

Day 4 - Chobe National Park
Leaving our guesthouse this morning, it's a short one-hour drive to the Kazungula land border crossing between Zimbabwe and Botswana. Once border formalities are completed, we'll continue to our campsite located on the banks of the Chobe River.

Day 5 - Chobe National Park
Make the most of your time in Chobe National Park and have two game drives today - one in the morning and a second in the afternoon. We hope to have the chance to spot huge trumpeting herds of elephants around the southern bank of the Chobe River.

Day 6 - Savuti Game Area
As we travel south today, we'll explore the interior of Savuti, with its sweeping plains, rolling grasslands, and marshes fed by the erratic Savuti Channel.

Day 7 - Game Drives in The Savuti Area
Today, we'll begin to explore Savuti. We'll have game drives in the morning and late afternoon to give us the best opportunity to spot its wildlife.

Day 8 - Moremi Game Reserve
Leaving our Savuti camp behind us this morning, we'll continue over dirt roads into Moremi Game Reserve's Xakanaxa area (pronounced ka-ka-na-ka) or Khwai which is an integral part of the eastern waters of the Okavango Delta.

Day 9 - Moremi
We'll enjoy two game drives today. Setting off for our morning game drive at first, we'll get the chance to experience one of Africa's wonderlands with the chance to see hippos, crocodiles and a great variety of birds.

Day 10 - Full Day of Game Drives in Moremi Game Reserve
The mighty Okavango is the third largest river in southern Africa. The delta area covers 16,000 square kilometres/6,177 square miles and is made up of crystal-clear channels, countless fleeting lakes and ever-changing islands.

Day 11 - Morning Game Drive in Moremi Game Reserve, Afternoon in Maun

Day 12 - The Okavango River
Departing after breakfast, we'll drive up the west side of the Okavango delta panhandle to Shakawe, where we'll leave our vehicle behind and board a motor launch to our houseboat.

Day 13 - Tsodilo Hills
This morning, there is the opportunity to visit the intriguing and sacred World Heritage Site of the Tsodilo Hills.

Day 14 - Victoria Falls
We'll have an early start this morning as we set off on the very long journey to Victoria Falls. Today's total journey time is approximately eleven hours (depending on time spent at the border crossings) including comfort breaks and a lunch break.

Day 15 - Victoria Falls
Often referred to as the adventure capital of Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls is most famous for being home to one of the natural wonders of the world, its namesake - Victoria Falls.
