"I hope this email finds you well. The Canda USA trip was a massive success. Just before we flew out we realised our last night in Los Angeles was also the last date on Oasis's tour of the USA - in LA. We managed to get tickets to the Rose Bowl to see them and finish our holiday in style. Thanks to Sam Henderson who organised the trip, we enjoyed the Universal Studios VIP tour. He was insistent we splash out on the VIP experience, and I am so glad he did - he is getting to know us well! We now have two more holidays booked with you - a Caribbean cruise this summer, and another at Christmas. Sam was able to get us some great prices on accommodation and flights for those. Sam is a star and if you have an employee recognition programme, he should be a contender!"

"A year-long planned big birthday trip to India for our family of 6 was cancelled 10 days before departure due to a visa issue, so we had to scramble to put together another three week trip for 6 with departure date just a week hence. We were so fortunate to try Trailfinders and get Emily Idziaczek as our travel advisor. She rightly recommended South Africa as a destination given the weather, our interest in outdoor activities, and above all, because Trailfinders is the largest travel agent for UK into South Africa, so they could get instant hotel confirmations or rejections, plus had preferred status with many hotels so could get both rooms and deals, and this all sped up the now-urgent process. I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with Emily as she suggested a route and tried different hotels and activity bookings according to availability and my feedback, which she got indicatively confirmed during our call. This was all finalised the next morning, a large credit card payment was charged then, and we flew less than a week later for a fantastic, well-designed, thoughtful three week adventure, and had a fabulous time. The first class service didn't stop there, as on our return I complained about three small parts of the itinerary which were not as stated by the local suppliers, and Emily & Trailfinders went to bat with them to get me the requisite refunds. Throughout all this Emily was a total professional, always cheerful & personable, able to draw on Trailfinders rich experience and contacts, and truly provided the tailor-made service. This plus the end-to-end itineraries with a focus on luxury value, and high-touch, experienced, personal service through well-travelled consultants is what makes the Trailfinders brand. Emily was a great ambassador of all this. THANK YOU!"

"From the minute we booked with Natasha Young we knew we'd have a fabulous holiday. She explained everything, showed us up to date photos of the rooms and made us feel special (we were booking our honeymoon). When all the uncertainty around the middle east happened (we were due to spend 3 days in Dubai) I received and email asking for our preference on how to proceed. We asked to explore a different route and after a day or so we received a call from St Albans team offering us different routes. We popped into the shop (please don't ever close it) and made arrangements to go via Sri Lanka instead. All quickly sorted and our minds put at rest. To top it off a few weeks before flying we received a bottle of chapel down (which I love) thanking us for booking with Trailfinders and wishing us a happy honeymoon. Safe to say we will be using you for all our holiday bookings now you've been fantastic."

This time I decided to take a look at booking a trip to India, as luck would have it Olivia Ruddle answered the phone who was nothing short of brilliant. Bear in mind this was New Years Eve in the afternoon when a lot of people are keen to get home and wind down. "I want to let you know how incredibly kind and helpful Matilda Hayes has been, yesterday and today. When I made mistakes trying to book my seats and bags online to EasyJet I got in a real muddle. Matilda was an angel, calming me down with her sweet, patient voice and helping me sort everything so I got the right seats and didn’t pay for hold luggage I didn’t want. My pug, Petra, wanted to add her thanks to mine. She is a therapy dog and looks after old people. She appreciates how anxious I can become and helps calm me down too.
