Day 1  Cairo    
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.    

Days 2-3  Cairo  
Start your holiday by exploring the iconic, ancient Pyramids of Giza and Great Sphinx. Discover their incredible history and remarkable construction with an expert Egyptologist as your guide. Visit the new Grand Egyptian Museum to admire a remarkable collection of artefacts dating back 5,000 years to a time of pyramids, pharaohs and hieroglyphs.    

Day 4  Cairo    
Head to Alexandria and explore some of the area’s most famous archaeological sites whilst your private guide regales you with tales of the city’s fascinating history. Visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the Roman Amphitheatre and the Pompey Pillar then finish the day at the Great Library of Alexandria.    

Days 6-7  Cairo to Aswan  
From Cairo catch your short flight to Aswan and visit the Aswan High Dam before heading to the unique temple relics of Philae, situated on a tiny island. Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk to gain an insight into the incredible building techniques of the ancient Egyptians.

Days 8-10  Aswan to Luxor    
Transfer to Luxor and explore the vast temple complex of Karnak and nearby Luxor Temple. Notable for its impressive entrance and towering statues, it was once connected to Karnak by the famous Avenue of the Sphinxes. A special day awaits as you cross the mighty Nile to explore the famous Valley of the Kings and the mesmerising Temple of Hatshepsut with its detailed wall carvings and spectacular backdrop.    

Days 11-16  Luxor to The Red Sea
Head east across the desert to the Red Sea coast. Spend your days here relaxing on the beautiful beaches or opt to snorkel or dive amongst the stunning coral reefs. Transfer to Hurghada airport for your onward flight.
