Oberoi Zahra - 7 Night Luxor to Aswan Nile Cruise

Day 1  Luxor                                                                                                  
Transfer to your cruise from the airport or your hotel in Luxor and board in time for a delicious lunch. Later visit the magnificent temples of Karnak.

Day 2  Luxor to Qena                        
Rise early to explore the Valley of the Kings, where many of the great pharaohs were buried. Then visit the temple of Medinet Habu and stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Continue to Qena and visit Dendera Temple, one of the best preserved temple complexes in Egypt.        

Day 3  Qena to Luxor                  
Early this morning you will sail back to Luxor. Visit the Valley of the Noble’s, the ancient Egyptian village of Dier El Madina and the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut. Later visit the impressive Luxor Temple.

Day 4  Luxor to Edfu                  
Cruise to Edfu and spend the morning relaxing in your cabin or making use of the onboard facilities. This afternoon visit the Edfu Temple, dedicated to the deities Horus and Hathor and a fantastic example of an Ancient Egyptian place of worship.  

Day 5  Edfu to Aswan                              
Depart for Aswan and take in the beautiful scenery along the riverbanks as you sail past. This afternoon visit Aswan’s High Dam and the temple relics of Philae.            

Day 6  Kom Ombo & Aswan            
Sail to Kom Ombo and visit its impressive twin temple. Return to Aswan and enjoy an afternoon excursion to the Botanic Gardens aboard a felucca, a traditional Egyptian sailing boat. End the day watching a spectacular sound and light show at the Philae Temple.                          

Day 7  Aswan                    
This morning there is an optional excursion to Abu Simbel (additional cost to be paid locally). Otherwise you can spend the day relaxing on board, before an evening farewell cocktail reception and dinner.          

Day 8  Aswan                        
Disembark your cruise and transfer to the airport or your hotel in Aswan.


Please note for departures between October and February, depending on water levels, you may travel by road to Qena.
